Aaaah, Poutine! John Roberts Enjoys A Taste Of Home
MANCHSTER, NH — CNN "American Morning" anchor John Roberts enjoys some fine Canadian cuisine at Chez Vachon in Manchester, NH. His co-anchor Kiran Chetry eats off his plate. After all, who doesn't love Canadian cuisine? Roberts and Chetry anchored "American Morning" from 6 - 9 am this morning, and we caught up with the pair and their crew circa 9:30 while they were enjoying a little after-broadcast poutine (and homfries and eggs and french toast...also, it was early but I'm pretty sure Chetry offered us "crab strips." Er, yummy?). Roberts shared a little of his love for poutine with us as Chetry ate off his plate in a moment of surpassing cuteness — an anchor team that carbo-loads together, stays together! — and we also chatted with the New Hampshire "Rock, Paper, Scissors" champion Ray Scott, who told us that New Hampshire had all sorts of French-Canadian roots. Hmmm, I thought I detected a hint of Canadianism in their state stogan, "Live Free Or Apologize Profusely To Your Neighbor For Inconveniencing Them." Watch!
