Jennifer Love Hewitt On Bikini Pics: "It Hurt My Feelings"

"Extra" caught up with Jennifer Love Hewitt who flaunted her curvy figure in a beautiful dress, at the premiere of "27 Dresses" in Los Angeles Monday night. She told "Extra" how she felt when comments were made about her bikini body.

"It made me feel a little embarrassed to be honest. It made me a little sad. It hurt my feelings," Hewitt admits.

Knowing what it's like to be a child star, Hewitt also commented on the Britney Spears saga saying, "I think that sometimes in this business, stuff happens and sometimes the only cure for it is to get out...I feel bad because everyone kind of judges her and splatters her business everywhere. No one goes, 'Why is this happening?' They just judge and judge and judge. It's too bad."

I hate people whose job it is to invade others' privacy and forget they are human beings despite their being famous. To go through years of being parented, schooled, and supposedly inspired by The Big Picture and wanting to be a "papparazzi" when they grow up is beyond me. I have enough problems with lawyers, who lie for a living. Or most politicians. How do you sleep? I must admit, however, to feeling extreme guilt in making the observation that JLH is an incredibly beautiful, desirable woman but the butt has to go if she's going to wear such revealing outfits.

Well, my rear is (somewhat) better than hers, so there's that.

But really, c'mon, does the media have to play this game? Hewitt has her own television show which is not based on the size of her ass.

I'd like to think we can get to a place where even a celebrity can hang out and be real without being ridiculed. I mean, the media acts all offended if a celebrity doesn't want to be photographed, you know, they're "snobby" and "fake" - but then if they're just being real and casual and enjoying life like the rest of us the media snaps photos and uses it to bash them?

The media loves to elevate and destroy. Sad.
