Salon:

Here's the cover for this week's issue of The Weekly Standard, excitingly available on newsstands now.

Here, once again, we encounter the renowned judgment and deep wisdom of Bill Kristol, Son of Irv, which led NYT Editorial Page Editor Andy Rosenthal, Son of Abe, to declare Kristol to be "a captivating writer and keen observer of the political landscape" and hand him a columnist job at the Times.

Just yesterday, HuffPost prominently displayed the quote from Bill Kristol about why Hillary won in New Hampshire (fake tears and stupid women voters, yada, yada, yada).Has Arianna become a shill for the neo-cons when it comes to Obama?

The fact that he writes for the NYTimes is disgusting. This man spews crap without backup and these are the results.

You know there have been times in my life when I have been wrong in my assessment of current events. For example, I fully expected Kerry to eke out a win in 2004. And as I was wrong I was rather stunned and forced to find an answer to explain the unexplainable.

In my life on Wall Street as an equity analyst I have also made two bad stock calls (thankfully my calls were generally spot on) and when that happened, my two bad calls, it left me well searching for what I had missed. Before I made any change to my stock recommendations, I always asked myself and my team what piece of information were we missing that might have an altering effect on our judgment?

These people at the Weekly Standard are wrong so often that it is inexplicable that they still have a readership. And yet what truly boggles my mind is why it doesn't even faze them that they err by such margins and with such repeated frequency? Why are they not engaged in greater introspection? At what point do you finally ask yourself what am I missing to have had my predictions and my perceptions of reality go so horribly wrong given that I am an expert being paid large sums of money for my foresight and analytical abilities?

Reason dictates that an error of this magnitude be sufficient cause for a self-examination. These sort of mistakes are thus only explainable under the rubric of a dangerous ideology where the ends justify all else. And when such an ideology colours every facet of life and analysis and worse yet permits no retreat from serious blunder how is that different from Stalin, Mao and Hilter?

The Weekly Standard's mistakes are not insignificant. My two poor stock calls did not lead to the deaths of thousands; theirs did.

In short, these men are no better than evils they believe that they are fighting. In fact, they may be far worse and more dangerous for they dwell amongst us.

My god. Just the idea that we'll have to deal with all the kristol crap and the fights of the 90s if Hillary wins makes me sick.

Kristol gets everything wrong. He reaches millions of Americans every month.

Why can't anyone in the media point this out when faced against him in a debate or a show's host note it when talking to him?

He is now writing pieces(of crap) for the NYT.

The joke is on us.

A blow-up of this cover should be to background every time Bill Kristol appears on tv and in print. They can start with the NYT........

Not to mention all the pinch-brains
on right-wing radio!

Neal Bortz (spelling?) was practically
pissing himself that Hillary was
behind in New Hampshire.
Spent almost the entire show telling us all
about her demise.

I wasn't going to vote for the woman
but seeing how much she PISSES OFF
the Pukes, I may change my mind!!

It's not even possible for Kristol to ACCIDENTALLY get something right.

There should be a superhero action figure of Kristol called: WRONGMAN!!!!! The only man in history who is wrong about everything 100% of the time.
