This morning on ABC's This Week, Sen. John Kerry was pressed to respond to a report from Bob Shrum, a senior adviser to Kerry in his 2004 presidential campaign. In his book, Shrum described how Kerry felt "queasy" about John Edwards when they met to discuss Edwards being the vice presidential nominee. Kerry refused to respond to Shrum's allegation, calling it a "ridiculous waste of time."

With friends like John Kerry, who needs enemas?

I was listening to Obama recount Kerry's great heroism on board the Swiftboat and nearly puked. How old is Obama? Was he alive in 2004? I think that we already discussed John Kerry's war record ad nauseum. I can't believe Barak was talking about Swiftboat stuff.

And listening to Kerry again. Omigod, his voice is just SO stentoriously boring. Even tho I was a supporter of Kerry's in 2004, I must admit that I hate the sound of his voice.

Nor do I trust Osama bin Hussein.

I'm sick to death of the standard Russert-style layup of ambushing the guest with derogatory newspaper clippings. Whatever else I might think of John Kerry, that was the best short-circuit of Stephanopoulos' little gotcha game that I've ever seen. Kerry was absolutely justified in calling George's non sequitur a "ridiculous waste of time." (Bob Shrum's book is a ridiculous waste of time, too, but that's not what Kerry was referring to.)

Good answer John

This headline is extremely misleading. Kerry didn't say Shrum's book is a waste of time, which is what the headline suggests, but that he, Kerry, wants to focus on the present and that commenting on it now would be a waste of time.

Great job Senator Kerry! If all politicians would just refuse to answer the foolish, unrelated questions that waste our time and their time, maybe then, the media will start asking substantive questions on the issues to better inform us, rather than dumb us down!

Read the recent American history and compare the American world image during Clinton's presidency and bush's now. One will find out the big differences. American can not afford to have another president like what bush had done to Americans.
American must have a capable president by choosing a candidate who has good records that can be tracked down to prove them. A good speech candidate likes Obama is never a good choice for situation today. Americans are wise do not making any more fairy tale, repeat a fairy tale. Americans needs to safe guard the constitution that bush had subverted completely. That is a difficult part for the coming presidency. The next president needs to be ready from day one with experiences and brilliant organizational skill to do that. Obama is good candidate but is questionable to take up this task. Obama can argues but it is the fact. May be Obama knows he is better off to wait for next term for the sake of American people.

It sure seems like Kerry is doing everything he can to ruin Edwards' chances. I worked on the campaign in '04, and Kerry can blame himself for letting the election get close enough for the Repugs to steal. Despite the fact that his advisers and Edwards told him to fight back immediately against the Swift Boaters, he chose to take the high road and remain quiet. He lost the respect of many of the volunteers! He should also have challenged the vote in Ohio, which has been proven to have been tampered with. Kerry is a sore loser who's damned if he'll see Edwards win. Total lack of character and integrity. Shows what happens when the party decides who will run instead of the people. Obama is either naive or a liar or both. You can't give these special interests a seat at any table and expect to walk away with a deal. They'll bury Obama and us with him. If Edwards made all of his money suing corporations, good for him. Most of them deserve it!!!! Go Edwards!!!!!

Sign it!

What a travesty!

1/5th of 1%

One Fifth of ONE percent of Americans have voted!

So General Electric and the other 5 big owners of media get to decide on the only three candidates.

All three of whom are DLC.ORG DINO Dems.

Lieberman Dems,

Not CHANGE Dems.

It'd be fun to see
nominie for president Borak Obama
and nominie for vicepresident John Adwards.
what a dream team.
America ,wait for more!
It'd be as twice of HOPE,
and as twice of CHANGE.

Whatever ...

I like Kerry, but the Repubs are going to have a FIELD DAY with his endorsement of Obama should Obama get the Dem nomination.

Is it just me, or does that still shot of Kerry and Obama look like a still from the movie "The Thing With Two Heads"? I'm thinking Kerry would be Rosie Grier, and Obama is Ray Milland...at least from the look of the photo.

sen. kerry sees what obama could do for the country, that is THE POINT.

I've never voted any way but Democrat my entire life.

But I must be honest.

Kerry was the one lever I pulled hoping it might not work.

I didn't like Bush, naturally.

But I have rarely been so uninspired by a Democrat......and believe me, I'm lax.

I honestly don't care what Kerry has to say about anything.

We lost that election fairly, in my opinion.

We did NOT present a strong candidate to offset Bush.

Kerry could not engender support, with good reason.

The Democratic party was regrouping, clearly. He was the best we offered.

And I think realists know he lacked the skills then and now.

So, this goes down as a period in history when democracy had to choose from worse and worser. *haha
