Sylvester Stallone Defends HGH Use

Stallone Hgh

Huffington Post   First Posted: 3/28/08 Updated: 5/25/11

Sylvester Stallone appeared on "Today" Friday to promote his "Rambo" sequel and he defended his use of human growth hormone. It's not like steroids! Really. According to Stallone, that's an archaic way of thinking and is like grouping aspirin with Percodan. Then he calls Matt Lauer buff.

Saw Sly the other night on Letterman.I don't know how well those HGH's are working because Sly's mug now looks like one of those rubber puppet faces on Spitting Image!

How the hell tall is Matt when he makes
Sly look tall? I saw Sly in Central Park
one time and he might be 5'10 in lifts.

Another Rocky? Is this guy bankrupt or what?

How ya doin? Don't look at me! Don't you
dare look at me.

Hmmm... another controlled substance.
Is he on steroids as well? What kind of example does that set for teens?

But..but Sly,do you think it's really working?

people love to talk trash about stallone, but i'll give him a load of credit for the classic genre defining Rocky, the popcorn entertainment of Demolition Man and Cliffhanger, or the underrated Copland. obviously there are plenty of movies he has done that are worth mocking (over the top, stop! or my mom will shoot!, Rocky II-V, judge dredd, etc), but look -- he's in his 60s, and he's giving us the physical starpower that we loved him for in his prime. i know nothing about HGH, but whether it's effects are as benign as he describes or not, i don't really care if he uses it. films are not sports, and no one is being cheated if he takes amino acids to regenerate what is lost through his physical performance.

I think he looks great. Clearly botox and fillers, but also a lot of hard work on himself. I hope I'll look as good as he does when I'm in my early sixties. He actually looks so good that I immediately thought of perhaps using HGH myself.

I read some political commentary he gave in an interview a couple of days ago, and he's quite astute and articulate. That came as a total surprise to me, I've always thought that he was like his roles in the movies.

Good for him!

A new Rambo film? That's pretty tired and so is Stallone. He needs to give it up and play character parts. He's enough of a half-way decent actor to do that.

Shit, Sylvester seems confusingly knowledable and articulate. Who knew?

HGH?

Remember your ears and nose can grow throughout your life.

Human growth hormone has not made him more attractive.

He's right! HGH is made from amino acids, it's a protein! Just like Cobra Venom Factor, or Bovine Prion Protein (which causes mad cow disease), or Insulin. Thanks for clearing that up Sly!

Can we say "Denial"?

190 amino acids? There are only 21. HGH... doesn't that stand for "Human Growth HORMONE"? It's not HGAA... human growth amino acid.

I want to see a movie starring Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwartzengrater, and Samuel L. Jackson. Sample script:

Rocky: alleagdrreeadddydsyassstalll
Ahnold: Speahk betah Rahkeee, Vee kahn't ahnderstahnd yew.
Jackson: I'm tired of the MutherF'in actors that can't speak MutherF'in English!
