Apparently the adage "whatever happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" doesn't apply to politics.

Tensions between the Obama and Clinton campaigns escalated today when officials traded charges about conduct on the ground during the Nevada caucuses Saturday.

Aides for Sen. Barack Obama, who lost the first-in-the-West contest, announced they would ask the state Democratic Party to review reports that Clinton caucus organizers had sought to block entry to certain sites a half hour before the official deadline, as outlined in a Clinton campaign caucus manual.

The Clinton campaign fired back that it was considering its own legal options in response to a barrage of voter intimidation complaints about Obama tactics.

I'm not sure that foul is the word to describe what happened at the Nevada caucus it would be more like cluster fu#k or something on that line sadly this i must admit was my first caucus and yes the word it self describes what happens at this venue they put the roster to us or maybe its the public's fault but any way as for me showed up just before the 11am scheduled time and found correct location and received my label and ballot and looking around only seeing three groups i started to realize what was about to happen when i ask person that had help get my label and ballot were is the Dennis Kucinich camp her reply was there is no Kucinich camp and i would have to select another there went my vote anyway as i watch the Edwards camp become dissolved four short of staying in this thing i sat and drank my Hilary orange juice and talk to my aunt and uncle who ending up volunteering as a delegate and was ask to volunteer as well as 30 others after about five to ten minutes some one finally caved in after reflection i should have went a free trip to dc or where ever then i could have voted for Dennis so i grabbed my complimntary cookies and another OJ and water for mom who just loves Hilary i felt my vote was given to the wrong candidate i did not like the process and I do not see any change coming and then you got the die bold thing maybe its all a waste of time just like writing this comment oh well peace

John Edwards had a rally in Los Angeles last week. Not one word about it in the Los Angeles Times - but MADAM CLINTON was covered. Edwards had over 1,000 supporters in attendance. This is disgusting. We have to stand up to the mainstream media - but the question remains: HOW??? I have written to MSNBC about their biased coverage and now my e-mails have been blocked. BLOCKED! They don't want to hear what we have to say. How about if we write to their advertisers???

OUT WITH THE OLD - IN WITH THE NEW! We need for the Clinton dynasty to move on. We don't want or need that old time Taminy Hall politics. We need a breath of fresh air in Washington. She breathes old, stale air into the halls of the Capital. That woman must move on to a different career. The press has manipulated us with their anointing her the front-runner even when she had the highest negatives. We need to watch our elections closely. www.blackboxvting.org www.bradblog.com

Like I said last week......Osama hussein the "nigga" in the race can only attract black votes.....latinos hate African americans......they think that they are uncouth, dangerous and especially delinquent....Hillary beat him 2-1 with the hspanic population. So let's see....Obama hussein isn't getting the woman vote, or the single whilte male vote, or the latino vote....seems marginalized to me.....Maybe his "si se puede" campaing was just too much pandering to the hispanic community.

As long as Obama was untested on the campaign trail, he and his supporters tried to pass him off as a "uniter" who could transend race, party and ideology to bring this country together for "change". The MSM promoted this idea. This rhetoric peaked following his win in Iowa. Now that he has lost a few primaries/caucuses, he and his supporters are starting to play hardball. The anti-Clinton hate speach is a far cry from what his supporters were saying only a few short weeks ago about "unifing" the country.

When Hillary lost Iowa, she congratulated Obama and moved on to New Hampshire. When Obama lost Nevada, he disappeared from Naveda but claimed victory in delegates counts, never a thank you to his supporters, never a congratulation to Hillary. What a character! This kind of person can unite a country?

Yesterday's blast at Bill C. for campaigning on Hillary's behalf as well as the accusations of "foul play" just appear to me to be sour grapes from the Obama team.

What was odd was that speech of his regarding unifying while at the same time rolling in around in old-fashioned muck-racking politics.

Talk about cognitive dissonance in messages!

Quote from the AP: [Obama's] campaign manager, David Plouffe, was far more pointed in a written statement that accused the Clinton campaign of "an entire week's worth of false, divisive attacks designed to mislead caucus-goers and discredit the caucus itself."Whatever the hard feelings, Clinton told supporters they would fade by the fall general election campaign. "We will all be united in November," she said, as the crowd chanted "HRC, HRC." [end quote] ---------------------------------------------------- I have said this time and again. The Clintons and their supporters believe that they can do anyting and no matter what lies, dirty politics, race-baiting, xenophobia inciting, lying, misreprensenting, amoral campaign they run, that Democrats in general---and Blacks specifically---will have no choice but to support them in November if they are successful in stealing this nomination. I beg to differ. I hope all intelligent Democrats of good conscience will vote for a change in the political party by NOT supporting her if she robs the public of a chance at an honest debate and a substantive choice for president. Don't vote for Billary in the fall under any circumstance; make a stand about your morals and your values as a party. Blacks more than others should always stand up for right because they, since inception, have been the true moral conscience of this nation; FACT!

This is a timid, ultra-conservative man.

I remember when he literally embraced Bush, the man who tried to destroy him. I understand that politicians have to do certain things to achieve ends, but this embrace was not normal.

Fear him if he becomes president. A great POW doesn't make a great president- like a great speaker doesn't make a great president.

At a time when it is crucial to remove the president, his administration and the party which he represents from power why would the 2 leading Democratic candidates hoping to take over power and make drastic changes verbally attack each other in public? The voters are watching and listening.

At the same time why does the Democratic party choose 2 candidates, any one of whom if nominated to run for president has a good chance of losing to the Republican nominee?
Never has a black man won the presidency and there is a strong constituency of American voters who will never vote for a black man no matter what his program is. There is also a strong constituency of voters who will never vote for a woman candidate whatever her experience in government. The African American community is already split between both candidates.

The Republicans have already indicated their desire for the Democrats to choose one of these 2 as their nominee for a presidential race to run against their candidate. The Republicans are certain that their candidate can beat either one.

If it is crucial to take back the government, why do the Democrats choose these 2 as possible candidates for president without considering all their shortcomings?

This kind of stuff has been going on in the democratic party as long as I can remember. I don't condone it, but there it is. If someone is fouled and cries out the other side says they're whining and throws back accusations. I don't think the Clintons are any dirtier than anyone else, including Obama, who has no choice but to play the game or be eliminated. Hell, go back to Kennedy's campaign in the 60's and you will find similar stuff.

The big difference here is that you have a black candidate with crossover support versus a woman candidate who also is an ex-First Lady toting her big gun ex-president husband. 24 hour news, overwhelming interest in the race and a HUGE desire to throw out the Republicants. It makes a lively mix. Will it turn off prospective voters? Sure. Especially those that were hoping for a clean race. Overall I think it hurts Obama the most whose idealistic followers will sour on these shenanigans. Clinton knows this. It's a game of rough up the other guy and take a little shine off his halo and it seems to be working.

Obama published 11:30am on his own freaking website:

http://my.barackobama.com/page/content/nv_caucus_center/

Click on "Step-By-Step"

"Caucus registration begins at 11:00 AM. It"s important to get there early because the caucus agenda begins at 11:30 AM"

But it's 'voter suppression' because Clinton's handbook says the same exact thing?

Classic Rovian tactics of the Clinton camp.

They actually told their PCOs to have all the Hillary supporters there early and then shut the doors half an hour before the official time. If that's not cheating, I don't know what is.

And of course, the "they do it too!" tactic, just like the right wingers say about liberals.

Well, let's investigate. I'm for investigating all of it - the voting machines, the caucuses, everything. Anyone who thinks that only Republicans fight dirty have never met the Clintons.
