Welcome To The Gutter: Right-Wing 527 Hits New Low

As if we needed a reminder that the 2008 Presidential Election is poised to become the most embarrassing, shame-filled miasma of our lifetimes, a 527 group calling themselves Citizens United Not Timid has been formed to basically ensure that the voices of misogynist reprobates and their opinions on the Hillary Clinton campaign will be heard. The organization takes great pains to put the first letters in their four word name in boldface, and just so you get the point, their crude logo hammers the message home.

These nimrods should not be confused with Citizens United, who are also an anti-Hillary group who at least went to the trouble to make a movie about the candidate that no one's likely to see or care about. What you need to know about this group that bases its whole existence on a pejorative term for the female anatomy is that it's basically been founded by Roger Stone, who cut his teeth in dirty, political hackery in the Nixon administration and whose latest claim to fame was prank-calling Eliot Spitzer's father.

But Stone is merely the man behind the scenes of this cowardly, lowbrow font of dickery. Some guy named "Noodles" is ostensibly running the group. "Noodles" is some Florida-based bartender-slash-DJ -- the sort of person you'd expect to have at least one hand in the local meth game and knee-deep in statutory rape allegations, but all of that really doesn't lend itself to a snappy acronym, does it?

Actually, the origin story of this 527 is pretty hilarious. As it turns out, "Noodles" sort of fell into the role of the frontman after the person who provided the inspirado for the organization turned out to be too dirty even for Stone:

A few nights prior, Stone had been interviewing a sinister Italian gentleman for the front man gig. It was a two-question interview. Stone kicked things off with, "Let me ask you, Angelo: I say 'Hillary Clinton.' Tell me the first word that comes to your mind, even if it's risqué." "[Special flower]," Angelo immediately replied. To which Stone followed with, "Would you be willing to tell other people you think that?" Angelo assented: "Abso-f'in'-lutely."

With the interview concluded, Angelo excused himself to the restroom, at which time one of Stone's friends asked, "Do you know who that is?" "No," Stone said, "Who is he? Nice guy." His friend explained, "He's one of the soldiers of the Lucchese family, has a record as long as your arm. I don't think he's the guy you want."

Yeah. And seeing that the organization's entire raison d'etre seems to be the sale of a stupid t-shirt, and that Stone has positioned himself as the group's "assistant treasurer," I'd guess that setting up a mobster as your patsy isn't a very wise idea.

I visited this web site. It has a field where visitors who "agree with our analysis" of Hillary Rodham Clinton can register with their name and contact information. But the group doesn't say anywhere on the site what their "analysis" is. I guess gender bigots just know instinctively what it is.

ok, so you think this is gutter now?
Actually, tearing someones character and integrity down with lies and distortions is gutter. And that is the gutter politics this country will be stuck with for years to come. We should not question why we have the leaders we have....Bush is a perfect example. C'est la vie!

What do you expect from a group who never matured past a 5th Grade mentality?

It's only the first of a gazillion 527s that will pop up if Hillary's the candidate.

That's what some people don't get.

Hillary wouldn't just be running against the republicans, but against all the independents, democrats and unaffiliated voters who can't stand the Clintons. (me-independent who can't stand them)

There is NO WAY she can win.

Nice to see that Robert Anton Wilson's legacy lives on. The Illuminatus! Trilogy gave us Knights of Christianity United in Faith, as well as myriad other absurd political organizations with obscene acronyms whose names unfortunately escape me at the moment.

Life imitates art.

We don't need to worry about the Republicans anymore. The Democrats are screwing it up all by themselves. Either way if Hillary wins the Primary (which she probley will because her base has the same intellect as Bush's) she will either lose to a Republican or if elected she will finish her transformation of Democrat to Republican. Either way we are probley looking at another Republican in the White House and a congress that won't do anything.

The reason Democrats lose is that they didn't put this up themselves and blame it on Republicans, call the news media and jigger the echo chamber before anyone knows what happened. That's the kind of thinking the Chinese or Arabs respect. Leak a fake expose to Drudge on Obama's terrorist ties or Hilary's lovers from within the NRC or traceable to Rove, and put them on the defensive to prove a negative. At some point politics is not just about morality, but intelligence. Whining about how dirty it is hasn't worked in thousands of years.

That said, the people that put this up are actually doing the Clintons a favor by showing the people who oppose her as adolescent creeps. Don't ruin it by faux outrage.

God asks Roger at the pearly gates, "what was your crowning achievement in Life."

Roger replies "I called someone a cunt acronymically(invent a word-okay)on a Tshirt."

That's it?
That's it

You have Ghandi, King, and your neighbor next door who has worked all his life and helped people when he could.

Then you have the Rogers of the world, empty of anything that matters.

I looked at the site. It picturs anbelievably buxom woman wearing this very tight T-shirt with the name Citzens United Not Timed which of course makes no sense until you realize that the whole point of the name is to Highlight the first Letter of each word...to spell out that oh, so, derogatory word. Now are there reall women stupid enough to walk around with that kind of label on their chests? If so, how drunk do they have to be?

Roger Stone was Karl Rove's love interest during the times of Watergate. Yes Watergate where the president of the united states tried to emulate a certain paper hanger named Schickelgruber.

This disgusting piece of work is every bit as ugly as what the Clintons do to their opposition. They should both be condemned.

This is a gag to sell t-shirts and hardly presents a threat to anybody, except the cretins who buy the shirts.
