Rudy Giuliani Command Center

New York Times:

The New York Police Department produced a detailed analysis in 1998 opposing plans by the city to locate its emergency command center at the World Trade Center, but the Giuliani administration overrode those objections. The command center later collapsed from damage in the Sept. 11 terrorist attack.

"Seven World Trade Center is a poor choice for the site of a crucial command center for the top leadership of the City of New York," a panel of police experts, which was aided by the Secret Service, concluded in a confidential Police Department memorandum.

Rudy likes to think we take him seriously. What a bag of wind.

It is already well known he made decisions that ignored safety that directly lead to far greater problems that would have been avoided after the terrorist attack.

Because he knew all the mistakes he made and nobody else had all the knowledge in one head, he was also ideally suited for that moment to salvage what he could after that event.

Given that back drop, he did well. He did well in a situation that should have never existed.

Had he listened, the firemen that went up those buildings would still be alive. Guliani is a poor planner

This is old news..... at least to New Yorkers, if not the country entire.

Everyone knows Giuliani ignored all the voices/warnings about keeping the command center in the WTC.... but he did it anyway.
Arrogance.

Sounds a bit like our current president.... hmm...

It is extremely naive and dangerous to think that the people who are elected to do the business of the people know everything, can fix everything, and will never be wrong about anything. Nor will they ever be tempted to grab more power than they have been given or use that power to benefit themselves and their friends.

But it is worse for anyone elected to office to then believe that they are infallible, all knowing, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, or capable of walking on water. And they deserve the worst that can be done to them for taking the power that is not theirs to take and for making themselves richer by stealing from the People. And Guilianini has done all of these things. That anyone would even consider voting for this man just proves how disengaged the people of this country are when it comes to knowing what they need to know about who, what, and why!

Well, I'm part of the electorate and I don't find it all that "destructive." Bill's criticism of Obama ain't nothing I can't deal with.

Why don't these so-called "pros" stop underestimating the intelligence of the American people?!

Don't forget that ReichWinger Rethugs admire "this corrupt, lying, disgusting man." Maybe he'll gone soon, but there's still an opening for GOP's VP slot; you can bet Rudy will grovel as needed.

all of the naysayers and poohpoohers are bitching about this being old news that's long been known

THE NEWS IS THE SURFACING, IN BLACK AND WHITE, OF THE 10 PAGE OFFICIAL RECOMMENDATION MEMO WHICH PROVIDES THE MATERIAL EVIDENCE OF JULIE THE ASSCLOWN'S INCOMPETENCE.

This is not news! JulieAnnie's apartment for nooners was nearby, was it not. He had to have an excuse to meet his current flame and it had to be close to his office. If you sift the wreckage of WTC 7 you'll probably find a case of Viagra.
If he'd spent more time on the first responders' communication system and less time playing the Energizer Bunny of Manhattan a lot of people will still live.

The corporate media's realizing their attempt in king-making was a colossal failure,so now they're gonna tear him down and get him off the stage as quickly as possible so his presence doesn't start to hurt the GOP front-runners.

When Rudy gets trounced in Florida, we'll never have to worry about him again. That is good news for America.

The first rule in advertising is to emphasize your biggest weakness as your strongest asset. Insurance companies say they will be there for you and banks say you're not just a number.

The way Rudy keeps talking up his 9-11 role, you know it is really his biggest weakness. So if 9-11 was not his good point, what has he really got to offer? More Bushit!!!

Rudy's running on his failures, treating them as virtues, just like "W". Is this Rovian or what?
