Polls have come to dominate the media's horse race coverage of political campaigns. Pundits and reporters constantly use them to tell us who's hot and who's not -- but skip over the fact that plummeting response rates and variables like undecided voters and margins of error and often render these polls useless as anything other than lightweight diversions on par with horoscopes and political betting lines. Our HuffPollstrology chart helps keep you up to date on the latest poll results, along with the latest horoscope predictions, and the latest online political betting lines - and will hopefully help the polling junkies in the media keep polls in the proper perspective.

It might suit you to show others just how kind and compassionate you can be. Involvement in a charity project is one possibility. At a slightly different level, you might like to show someone how interested you are in the Arts and how willing you are to foster other people's talents. Whatever your motivation, these actions could bring interesting responses, - especially from those born under one of the Air signs of Gemini, Libra or Aquarius.

The design and sizes of items used daily might require careful scrutiny. In improving either a kitchen or bathroom area, you could hit some snags. The placement of a mirror may be particularly important. Comments made by someone born under Leo or Aquarius could confuse you - causing you to defer a final decision.

A company or group of people on whom you are dependent for goodwill if not for actual finance, might not be in a position to give you the unequivocal support that you need. Finding someone to speak on your behalf could be deemed imperative. A large part of the problem could be that facts only speak half the truth. Finding someone who can convey the other half - and swing a vote in your favour - may not be at all easy.

They claim to be skeptical of polling. Hmmm... I'd love to hear them explain why an anagram of "Huffington Post" is "Isn't Pugh Off? Not!"

You did not have to be an astrologist to predict Chelsea voting illegally today -- ask yourself, what would the Clintons NOT do to obtain power?

Sounds like a slogan from FOX news which seems to be the model the HuffPost is following.

Wait till tonight our little "yellow kid" will be posting all the polls that she can find if they favor Obama.

Take that to the bank... "yellow kid" will be creaming on herself to place those polls in HUGE FONTS on the headline! If Obama losses it will be: FRAUD AT POLLS!

Posting candidates "horrorscopes"? Is Huffpo trying to attain the level of intellectual sharpness exhibited by Sherri Shepherd or Dubya?

If astrology had ANY credibility, it would not be a feature of supermarket tabloids, and would not be the equivalent of Weekly World News' "Bat Boy".

This is a new low, even for the new tabloid FluffPo.

Do you think we're all stupid, Arianna?

CARD READING PREDICTS WINNERS BETTER THAN POLLS OR ASTROLOGY
Tarot cards are too complicated. An ordinary deck will do. The presidential candidates, their supporters and detractors, are playing cards daily.
Rudolph Giuliani played the 9/11 card over and over again.
Barak bashers have been playing the race card.
Hillary haters played the sexist card by holding up signs at a rally reading “iron my shirts.” Pundits credited the candidate with a double-barreled response: she played the feminist card (dismissing sexism as old news), and the victim card (drawing sympathy as a woman under attack).
Republicans have demonstrated card-playing prowess of their own: Huckabee has played the religion card to cut both ways: his Evangelical Christianity is a strength, Romney’s Mormonism is a weakness.
I can't translate cards like these into votes so let’s keep it simple: one card, one vote. Do the math: 4 suits with jacks, kings, and queens--8 males, 4 females. This means Barack beats Hillary by a 2 to 1 margin. The race cards are even worse news for Hillary. Between jacks and kings there are 4 blacks, but among the 4 queens there are no whites. Obama’s race-based lead over Clinton is a landslide 4 to zero!
You can see where this is heading: Obama versus any Republican white male yields the same 4 to zero Democratic victory.
There is another possibility: the wild card--a third-party candidate. White males Ralph Nader and Michael Bloomberg don’t stand a chance against Obama, but suppose the third party picks candidates with both black and red characteristics: for example, two African-American communists.
Better yet, the third-party running mates are one male, one female, each the offspring of, say, a red man and a black woman. Their mix of Native American/African American blood would be a sure winner over Obama’s black/white mix, no matter whom he picks for Veep. (Full disclosure: I am ready and willing to serve as a very-highly-paid political consultant to such a third-party candidacy).
Forget the issues. Let's play cards!

a small point about "improvement" in this feature: the weather report no longer specifies which candidates will be where, like it did about a week ago.
