Reuters:

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said on Thursday the world is on the cusp of "the age of green economics" and called on nations to cooperate to fight global warming and promote the transformation.

"With the right financial incentives and a global framework, we can steer economic growth in a low-carbon direction," Ban said in remarks prepared for delivery to a Chicago business group.

Still not buying into Al Gore's version on global warming. What ever happened to the 'new ice age' that was coming in the '70's? Somehow the EXPERTS were wrong then as they are wrong now. Fear mongering doesn't just come in the form of Bush and terrorism.

Going green will be the next bubble for Wall Street. "Technology" will not solve all problems. It causes many.

Population control and some form of solar energy and wind energy would be sustainable solutions. More likely that mass starvation due to disruption of the food supply will reduce world population. Water will also be scarce.

This guy, General Ban Ki-Moon, looks smarter than Bush. He probably got higher than a C- grade point average in college and he is fluent in at least one language, unlike Bush, who, although he is native born, butchers the Queen's English.

Can you say Global Warming? George? Not nukular! No, not time to drop bombs! Time to fix global warming!

This is nothing but the age of new socialism. When are you people going to learn that this whole thing is a scam. They just learned that Ethanol causes global warming according to "experts."
