Clinton Ten Million

NY Times:

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton has now raised $8 million on-line since the polls closed Tuesday, Howard Wolfson, the campaign's spokesman, just announced on a conference call. He said the campaign has acquired 75,000 new donors and has raised a total of $10 million since Feb. 1.

He said that Mrs. Clinton's giving of $5 million to herself acted as a prompt to her supporters who, he said, weren't aware that she needed the money.

All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.

Vote for clinton and turn in your civil rights at the polling place. Easy, one stop shop.

Under the clintons the "Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave" is neither.

Oh, and not only won't she release her tax records, what is alll this "hooey" about her underdog status? She is the ultimate insider!

And the Republicans are salivating at the prospect she wins. If She andd Lucifer walked into the Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) this week, HE would have been unoticed, their hatred of her so vitriolic. She IS a unifying force - the conservatives will rally around McCain like the last life boat on the Titanic. It explains why Pat Buchanon always talks positively about her campaign. In fact, think of ONE conservative who has "bashed" Obama. Thhey want Hillary to win.

Her tax records - I heard today she has agreed to release her tax records BUT not until the "general election" meaning only after the contest between her and Obama is over. If there is something not kosher regarding her taxes I think it's fair we know about it well before the general election. These are the type of moves on the part of the Clinton's that make people question their honesty.

Hillary's campaign has been constantly copycating Barack's messages & slogans.

Most recent headline: "HILLARY CALLS HER CAMPAIGN A MOVEMENT"

What a joke!! You'd think with all the high priced political advisors on the Clinton campaign payroll - they could come up with an original thought!!

I'd call Hillary's campaign a "Bowel Movement"

I believe it's just another "slick" move by Hillary. Cries broke to raise more money. I know it's all politics but man it just spotlights the lack of character of this women. Add one more to the list:

NV law suite
Puts her name on the MI ballot against the party rules.
Her proclaimed "victory" speech in Fl.
Uses her husband as her attack dog.
Now she's complaining about caucuses but only because Obama does better in caucuses

Shamless.

Does it bother you that Senator Obama is trying to get the influence of Super Delegates null and void? And an even better question...would he be doing this if they were supporting him? Ummmm.....(hypocrisy alert)...

In my opinion, the Clintons are politically filthy. Nothing is beneath them & they will say & do anything to win. Should they win, they will come into the White House with 20+ years of political favors to payback & lobbyist to please.

Why can't we make a clean break & fresh start?

I know why the Clintons are fighting to gain & retain power. I think Bill is terrified of being eclipsed by Barack - prior to Obama, many saw Bill as the most charismatic leader, capable of communicating & connecting with people in a way, not seen for a longtime. Compared to Obama, Bill looks quite ordinary.

Do we really want to have to look at, hear & deal with the Clintons again? What's wrong with us? Don't we feel worthy of going for something so much better? The Clintons are filthy!

Hillary said she loaned he campaign 5 million. How much interest did she charge her campaign? The Clintons do nothing for free and work every angle to pocket more money from someone else. Ask Peter Paul. Those of you that actually do donate to the Clinton Campaign I feel sorry for you because you have been fooled by one of the best.

Well I do say, the dear lobby people must be coming in to help her along. After all Barack took money from those who work at the lobby but not the companies that lobby big dif. She will have her door wide open and they will not have to even knock to come a callin' if she gets the oval office. After all special interests are right down her alley/road/street. She's loved them all her working life and if you look at her real bio and not the made up one for her campaign you will find the multiple board and lawyers fees she made while she was doing that little bit of charity work she claims. The republicans can hardly wait for round two. She has every chance of losing to McCain which soo many people just don't have one clue about. Bill got impeached in round one and the republicans will not let them get away with anything. She wasn't the target last time and she has some stuff buried in Bill library that might come back to haunt her even though it's not touchable now. Also tax returns? Barack put his out there and has noting to hide. She will disclosed sometime later which is pigeon talk for her never.

Did anyone notice that by claiming she had to loan $5 million to the campaign that she out-and-out lied to people? Notice how the main stream media doesn't mention that. Two days ago she said the campaign was out of money and staffers were not being paid. Is that the kind of person we want to be our president?

She did lend it. You know, throwing around accusations that someone lied used to be reserved for very serious matters. It's character assassination.

What I notice about Obama supporters is that they do this without much thought.

This is change all right...but not one I admire.

You would think with 'all the best' political minds, advisors, etc. in the Clinton camp, that they would've run a much better campaign. Instead, they're constantly having to course correct, usually by copying Obama's strategies. Think of how many times they've had to change their slogans & tactics. In Iowa, Hillary was dragging her mom everywhere she went (probably because one of her expensive pollster told her that the old voting women of Iowa would like that). After seeing Obama win, with a large youth vote, you haven't seen Hillary's mom since.

Hillary has also changed he slogan & message several times - mostly trying to plagerize Obama's without being to obvious about it. Just to mention a few: 'Fired up', 'Change', 'Yes We Can'. Also, remember how Hillary used to talk - about if you elect her, SHE will do so & so, & that only SHE is capable of,....Then she caught onto Obama's message of it being about the people & not the canaidate. Now Hillary (like Obama) talks about how WE can do this & that,...how the campaign is about US,.....

Now Hillary's campaign is trying to copy Obama's online fund reaising strategy.

Basically, like Romney, she's shameless in copying Obama's campaign messages, slogans & tactics. With all the money she's spent on the 'best' political advisors, you'd think they could have done better, if not at least been original. Instead, the campaign of the junior senator from Illinoise is eating their lunch.

Obama keeps copying Hillary's policy statements. He waits until she promotes an issue and then he jumps on board.
Instead of thinking through these very complex and ever evolving issues, Obama seems to shoot from the hip in debates and then has to go back and admit he didn't really mean what he said and that he pushed the wrong button. No, I would much rather see someone in the white house that actually has a plan and a method to carry it out.
OBama is a wonderful person and a well spoken politician, but he needs a little longer to coalese his ideas and plans.

Obama raises the most money w/o PAC money; unlike Clingon.

Obama raises the most money w/the largest percentage of small donors; unlike Clingon who relies on big donors.

Can we stop with the name calling? On both sides? She's a U.S. Senator. Show some respect.

As an Obama supporter, I simply will not condone calling the opponent names. One of the things Senator Obama wants to change is the tone of our politics. You're not helping, teahead.

Again, you may want to pay attention more to your own candidate.

He takes PAC money. He blasted Edwards for PAC money.

In 3 weeks, out came his PAC ad in SF. When interviewed, the PAC admitted it was pouring money into his campaigns in other states.

You have been played.

Not vice versa.

You PROBABLY believe she is the "insurgent" candidate, and the underdog.

I think hillary is not the independent, strong leader she presents herself as. I feel that she is, to the contrary, weak and would misuse her presidential powers to ingratiate bill and various lobbyits and industries and special interests, more than barack would. But if there were a female candidate who I respected, I would support her for prez in an instant

I love that Bill says self-financing of campaigns is against the spirit of campaign finance and was pissed at the Supreme Court for allowing it, yet the very next month the Clintons drop $5 million out of their personal cash and into their campaign. That is sketchy itself, especially given Bill's post-presidential financial dealings, but the hypocrisy is simply hilarious, just another example of saying one thing and doing another! I think they call that the Clinton shuffle.

ATTENTION HILLARY SUPPORTERS ! SPECIAL NOTICE !
Due to the under-handed tactics and inner-party polarization of Hillary Clinton, millions of Obama supporters WILL NOT support her should she become the nominee. This, in part, is due to the fact that many feel that she is already trying to cheat her way to the nomination by claiming victory in Michigan and Florida. (By the way....how did her name appear on the Michigan ballot anyway ?) Hillary Clinton has totally alienated even her own party members. This is sad....but true. She will not win the Presidency without full Democratic support. Your continued support for Clinton is actually a vote for McCain. Sorry.....these are just the facts! The really sad thing is....we used to like the Clintons ! In addition, there is a groundswell of support to draft Bloomberg as an alternative if deemed necessary; but Americans will not support corruption in this election, even in the name of Party loyalty. NOTE: Did you see that Rush Limbaugh is starting a fundraiser for Hillary called 'Keep Her In-So We Can Win!'

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 04:44 PM on 02/08/2008

So when you mention Senator Clinton trying to "claim victory in Michigan and Florida", are you bothered by the fact that she is winning in the popular vote and that Senator Obama is actively trying to override the Super Delegates? If what she is doing is cheating, is not what he is doing cheating as well? And, would he be trying to overthrow the Super Delegates if they were supporting him? I think not, but what do you think. (Hypocrisy alert)!!!

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 05:47 PM on 02/08/2008

First of all, party big-wigs are superdelegates, and they are free to change their minds at any time. There's nothing to override. Further, Clinton "fundraised" constantly in Florida, and I would like to know how her name ended up on the ballot in MI. How about the NV lawsuit to stop the caucuses in casinos after she lost the culinary workers endorsement? (Moron alert)!!!

That being said, I will vote for her if she's the nominee. Even if she steals it, which I think might seal the deal for McOldMan. At least she says she's against the war.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 03:38 AM on 02/09/2008

I wonder what the results would have been had Obama been able to campaign in those states? I thought it was disgusting for her to show up for a victory party in Florida knowing full well it was not a fair race. But just again points to her lack of honesty and character. The law suite stunt in NV, Bill's behavior in SC, now she's whining about the caucus process because Obama does better in caucuses. Want the Florida delegates seated at the convention, well of course she would. Just makes me ill, people don't see what this women is truly about. Same of dirty politics we "claim" we are sick of.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 01:52 PM on 02/09/2008

And with all of the Hillary bashing going on by Obama supporters, do you really think that Hillary supporters will want to join you to support Obama in November? Remember, Obama can't win without Hillary's backers either.

Two, if not three justices will be appointed to the SC by the next pres. There are bigger things at stake than which liberal wins the nomination. Hillary supporters are getting sick of the bashing - the worst of it coming from his supporters, this site, the sharp headlines here, and the one-sided stories - almost always bashing Senator Clinton.

You'd be foolish to think that there won't be a backlash against Obama either.
