Obama Adviser Leads Delegation To Damascus

A foreign policy adviser to Senator Obama is scheduled to arrive in Syria today as the leader of a RAND Corp. delegation.

Zbigniew Brzezinski will travel to Damascus for meetings as part of a trip Syria's official Cham News agency described as an "important sign that the end of official dialogue between Washington and Damascus has not prevented dialogue with important American intellectuals and politicians."

We are working hard here in Florida to get our votes for Hillary counted and to support a true friend of Israel, John McCain if Obama wins. We will do everything within our power to make Florida once again a red state as we cannot let Carter and his kind let Israel be destroyed by the Palestinia­ns/terrori­sts. Brzezinski is not "an advisor" to Obama -he is the senior foreign policy advisor to Obama (Obama's Condi Rice). And, he travelled SECRETLY to Syria to meet not only with Assad, but with the leader of Hamas - the terrorist organization which continues to attack Israel and continues to stand as the major roadblock to a two-state solution, with Israel and Palestine living peacefully side-by-side. If you liked Jimmy Carter's foreign policy, you will love Obama's.

I am not particularly fond of Zbigniew Brzezinski. Still, I see no wrong in him talking to the Syrians. Being Polish-American myself, I have some insight into Brzezinski's mind. He will strike a deal if he can. He is very perceptive in some ways, and obtuse in others. The sole fact that he embraced Obama is puzzling, except if Obama is a secret stooge of unknown powers-that-be. Brzezinski has always cattered to the highest bidder. Does Obama? Only time will tell. Syria is another story. They can well be impressed by people like Brzezinski and Obama. And this helps the U.S.

Too much damage has been done by self appointed/annointed 'statesmen', former US government leaders, etc to US foreign policy. The number of times CEO William Cohen of the Cohen Group has visited with the President of China exceeds that of the President, current and past.

Is America so weak that it must turn to 'private sector national security advisor' of the Center for Strategic Studies, Brzenski, to conduct business in the Middle East during the Bush/Cheney Administration? Brzenski was out to destroy the Soviet Union since the 1950s which objective he accomplished thanks to Jimmy Carter and the CIA trained Islamofascist Muhujadeen. Brzenski couldn't care less about American lives hence, Obama made a huge mistake selecting him as NSA campaign advisor.

It's about time that people start talking. I hate a foreign policy that creates more and more enemies, and won't speak to anyone. This administration seems to enjoy an us vs. them type of fearmongering!! It worked well in '04. We need to start talking to Iran too. Without Iran's help we get no Iraq solution!
