While rallying House GOP members today, John McCain brought up the electability of Barack Obamab, his "potential" rival for the presidency:

As he did Tuesday night, McCain focused much of his criticism on Obama, Tuesday's winner on the Democratic side.

"I respect him and the campaign that he has run, but there's going to come a time when we have to get into specifics," McCain told reporters Wednesday on Capitol Hill. "I've not observed every speech he's given, obviously, but they are singularly lacking in specifics."

McCain is nothing more than Bush-lite.At one time, several years ago,I would have voted for him because I thought he was a moderate.Since then he's become more like his 'new friend' Bush.

CLINTON LACKS SPECIFICS TOO! Why doesnt anyone say hey... that talking point you just spitted out is missing a few details we call sense. Clinton doesnt give details to her plans either and just spouts out language trying to convince audiences that she is the wiser.

McCain and Clinton are chums and she is using her same attacks. It is not going to work.

He has legislated longer then Clinton and being the head of the Harvard Law Review on top of his community organising, publications and other accomplishments people still say Hillary has more experience?! She lived at the white house while Bill was doing his thing and that doesnt say experience to me. NAFTA, 3 strikes, bloated economic bubbles that have all burst (or are about to), backdoor blacklisting.... Why would you ever vote that into office again!? The 90s/Clintons werent all that great and had some negative long term affects.

Obama 08! Obama videos of him on the issues:

Why must you obamaites lie?? Hillary gives very detailed answers to questions. I have been watching her intently, and she does not spin, change the subject or make shit up. She answers directly and comprehensively.
I hear Jim Jones calling, better run and see.

I heard an Obama clip this A.M. where he said that McCain is a War Hero, and we are indebted to his service, and then some bla bla bla, that is some slick shit, Obama is good, very good. ( not sarcasm)

McCain is about as tough as Harry Reid, they both love a good pillow fight.

But I've never seen Reid hug his former opponents as McCain does. First Falwell, then Bush. Rove is next.

************FLASH*************

McCain (the presumptive GOP nominee) "Targets" Obama (the presumptive Dem nominee).

In an outrageous statement McCain suggested that the time would soon come when the campaign for the White House would get down to specifics...

DEVELOPING..........

That should serve as a warning to only one person: John McCain.

The old geezer can't even handle Huck on specifics.

He was dumb enough to ask Huck about "Fair Tax" in one debate. Huck handed him his old ass on a platter.

Bring it on, McBomb. We would love to hear specifics about you corrupt Keating dealings, and how you tried to fake that stroll in a Baghdad market. And on on flip-flop on Bush tax cuts. And much much more.

In a debate between McCain and Hillary about who has more experience, McCain will win because he clearly has more experience than Hillary. If experience were the criterion, we should all vote for McCain.

In a debate between McCain and Obama about the wisdom of getting into the Iraqi quagmire, Obama will win because a large majority of the American people have now correctly concluded that getting into this war was a major blunder.
Since Hillary voted for it, she cannot challenge McCain on this. As a matter of fact, since she voted for Kyl-Liebermann,she cannot even challenge McCain about his war mongering with Iran.

In my opinion, regardless of who wins on our side and regardless of the the criterion, we should never vote for McCain or any other Republican. They are all utterly depraved. Period.

Now, I think Obama has a much better chance of decisively defeating McCain because of the war issue.

McBomb will try to focus on the "surge", hoping against hope that the surge would not be shown to be a complete failure before November. Our job would be to keep the focus on the absurdity and the immorality of the whole Iraq war, and the lies that were told to us to justify it. That Obama can do, and Hillary cannot do. She was part of that disstrous decision.

On other issues, both Hillary and Obama have enough to make McBomb wish that he had never decided to run.

McBomb is having problems defeating Huck for god's sake. He'll need ten years of training before he can handle Obama or Clinton.

And he wants to talk about specifics?

Bring it on. It'll be enjoyable.

Some of you may have forgotten a critical truth which is that politicians lie. Some lie more than others but in the end the whole point of getting elected, especially if you are a Repug, is to say whatever it takes to win. That is what Romney, Thompson, Huckleberrie all have done. McCain is doing it bigtime. Expect more of the same, but even bigger lies.

The thing that I respect about Obama is his apparent honesty and sincerity. Who in their right mind would vote for the old man...have folks forgotten what it was like to have an out-of-touch old man in the White House (Reagan, of course)?

What kills me is that Barrack Obama has the potential to be a great president while McCain appears to be running for the job of the next Ronald Reagan...try as I might, I cannot understand the logic in that.

Who the fuck wants another 'Ronnie'??

When McCain was still his own man he opposed the tax giveaways for the haves and have mores because he knows they are bad for the country.

He still knows they are bad for the country but now supports them because he needs to pander to the Republican righ-wing constituency. The straight talk express has morphed into the pander express.

In 2001 when McCain was his own man, he called the preachers on the right "angents of intolerance." He still knows that they are that, but now is kissing their a** because he needs to pander to the Republican righ-wing constituency. The straight talk express has morphed into the pander express.

Just wait. He'll soon be a big proponent of turture. This guy is a fucking hypocrite. Just remember how he went and hugged Falwell. And he hugged Bush after what Bush said about his daughter.

This guy has no integrity, no honor left in him. He's just an old warmongering geezer.

McCain has many faces. He says loudly, that he opposes torture, then promptly signs the Military Commissions Act, which basically gives bush the right to torture anyone he deems to be an enemy combatant. McCain therefore does indeed support toture.

Did anyone notice this?
GOP whip Roy Blunt called McCain "the best
possible nominee for us to take back the
House."
Did I oversleep? They HAVE the White House.

This race belongs to the Democrats. It's ours only to lose if we allow inhouse bickering to defeat us. The differences between McCain and Obama are enormous; the differences between McCain and Clinton give McCain a fighting chance. Keep the young people voting, says this over the hill liberal!

Let's get over the ridiculous idea that McCain or the Republicans are 'salivating' over running against Clinton, so they can 'savage' her (enough sexual assault language yet?). McCain's going after Obama because he can nail him, not because he's trying to help the Hillster. Foolish memesters stuck in the bait-and-switch of the Right so desperate to run against the shrew. Wrong! They have been biding their time, allowing the Obama love to flow and the Clinton hate to bring her down, knowing full well he's a novice who'll get creamed when he has to offer more than hope-a-tudes and Oprah spout. The Culties of Barack have played completely into their hands. All it will take is one minor terrorist attack anywhere in the Western world to get Obama dumped by the roadside as a boy looking for a man's job. Absent that, they're gonna cream the Love is All You Needster any way it goes. It's the Hillary haters who can't let go of the idea that the Right lusts for her to be the nominee. Poor, poor stooges.

Uhhhh....I think a terrorist attack would destroy any Democratic contender. Hillary included. You think America would trust Hillary against the terrorists? The terrorists are the worst enemy of the Democratic Party and the greatest friends to the GOP.

In fact, watch the terror alerts go up and don't be surprised if there is an actual attack in the next few months. We'll see if the Americans are smart enought to look through this smoke and mirrors.

Made,McC is the loser, and you on his side, it will be a dbl whammy. Just because one was a POW does't mean he would be Pres material. We thank him highly for his service, but he doesn't have the smarts, finesse, or diplomacy to become a pres. McC will will he had studied Webster, before trying to speak down to Obama. Remember, Bush, Huck,Mitt, et al have already whipped McC and he just keeps there wollering in it. Oh well, rethink your war heroes. Obama knows you will too in Nov. Or Vote to turn the page and leave the past behind. Obama in 08

General Wesley Clark is definitely the best V.P. candidate because he can neutralize War Monger McCain's claims that he knows best how to defend the U.S. from terrorists. While McCain deserves sympathy for what he suffered in the prisoner of war camp, the reality is that one does not gain any military experience when confined in such a camp. Clark commanded troops in Vietnam and Desert Storm and, as NATO commander, defeated Milosovich with no U.S. combat casualties. He, not McCain will bring military expertise to the Excecutive Branch.

We will be in Iraq for 1000 years.

There will be more wars.
