Last Friday Jenny Craig and Kirstie Alley announced they had parted ways, although whose idea it was to part ways is unclear. Today Alley released a statement saying she has another money-making weight loss plan down the pipeline.

In fact, Alley, 57, hopes to "develop and pilot my own weight-loss brand that I hope to launch in 2009," she has announced in a statement.

The weight-loss field is wide open and not immune to new ideas and improved solutions for the fat problems that plague many of us Americans every day. I want to create something new that will help millions of people end the seemingly never ending fatty-roller coaster ride. I am especially passionate about seeing to it that our next generations are not struggling with the same weight issues that my generation has struggled with.

Her whole, lengthy statement is available on People.com.

Your career is a meaningless exercise in the maintenance of rich peoples' money and property and you will never, ever be as good as the people on TV. You can see the more video on the rich and honorable site called horsematch .com.

Yeah, you have to join the COS and be "clear" to get admitted to her program. She has her therapists give you touch-assists and concentrate on who you were before this re-incarnation.

Then you empty your wallet. Bring lots of small bills--then the weight loss will be greater.

While I think Kirstie Alley looks good thin or thick, what's ugly is the COS in her head.

Methinks the weight-loss has gone to Alley's head. After all, she supposedly lost all that weight due to the Jennie Craig program. What's she going to say to comnsumers, that her success was due to this new program she's offering?

You're too fat. Your clothes are ugly. Your car is too old. Your home is too small. Your phone is too large. Your children are ignorant. Your breasts sag and your penis isn't big enough. Your spouse doesn't understand you. Your career is a meaningless exercise in the maintenance of rich peoples' money and property and you will never, ever be as good as the people on TV.

Quick - buy something.

Can we assume the videos relating to her new and improved weight loss solutions will be released via W-I-D-E S-C-R-E-E-N???

Unless you're five feet tall and five feet wide, forget theses weight loss programs. You don't need them. Everybody wants to be slim. What they really want to be is skinny. What they get is unhealthy. When you see a beautiful woman and them you notice the bones of her ribs or her wrists, it's just gross.

Sorry, most people don't find being 4'11" wide attractive or healthy. Yes, these programs are necessary. When you have a lot of weight to lose, it's seems completely impossible without some sort of support. It's incredibly hard to stay motivated without a support team, which is a large part of the Jenny program.

Geonorth,

The number of obese people in this country, and worldwide has reached record proportions. There are kids with high blood pressure and type two diabetes. Even cancer rates are higher. Wanting to be thinner is not unhealthy if you are overweight.

Also, it is normal to have some bones that you can see. Look at concentration camp pictures or pictures of anorexics. They are truly too thin.

Here is some info about HFCS. High fructose
corn syrup is not a natural product. It starts
out as cornstarch. Picture large vats of
murky fermenting liquid, fungus, genetically
modified enzymes, ion exchange and lots more
chemical tweaking. All taking place in one of
16 chemical plants located in the cornbelt.
It makes your body ravenous. Unlike regular
sugar, HFCS doesn't trigger the release of
leptin, the substance that makes you feel full
and stop eating. Worse still, it doesn't
suppress the release of ghrelin, the substance
that makes you hungry. That's why you still
feel hungry not long after eating. The Dept.
of Agriculture data directly links HFCS to
skyrocketing diabetes and obesity. It is
much cheaper than regular sugar. Only later
did researchers find that it makes you
uncontrolably hungry. They are trying to
launch a PR campaign just to deny the facts.
HFCS is helping them sell billions of dollars
worth of food you'd never crave otherwise.
Plus diabetes and obesity that can help the
pharmacutical companys big time. Drug giant
Eli Lilly is spending $325 million dollars
to build one of the biggest factories ever
devoted to making a single drug-INSULIN.
Every Corporation and company that uses this
poisen should be called on the carpet. Check
your labels, call or e-mail these companys.
The FDA isn't going to do anything to protect
the people in this country.

Is liposuction gonna be a big part of the "diet"?

How does a fat woman get a weight loss company? Wouldn't a thin woman do that? Or is this part of the "it ain't my fault" world we live in? If she would stop with the macaroni and cheese for a few weeks she would lose weight. I hate all these fat people. They need to be taxed by the pound. Now that would be a diet that would make the country healthy.

Why does the Huffington Post report on junk news like this?

Look folks .. the lady has very limited talent and FAT is her only marketable asset left. Being FAT is what she is famous for. Her acting always sucked. She overeats ... so eat less Kirstie.

She is even beginning to look like LRH ... face and physique. The best move that former hubbie Parker ever made was running the other way.

Being famous for being a self centered glutton ... ain't America amazing?

I do think she needs to lose weight. However, you seem to have real issues with either her, or overweight women in general.

I am lucky to be thin. However, I do know that a lot of people battle their weight for decades. Oprah fasted for three months. If you are not overweight, you do not know what they are fighting.

Also, LRH ???? who?

The ongoing Scientology-Phobia on here is hilarious. Why do you people care what they do with their money?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 07:32 AM on 02/20/2008

You should not care whether someone gives their money to Al-Qaeda, FARC, or Scientology should you?

Scientologists, Christians, wtf is the difference? It is natural for most humans to need to believe in some sort of magical unseen beings. I haven't heard of those wacky scientologists trying to kill anybody, unlike FARC or CIA asset Al-Qaeda, so I don't think you should lump them together like that. You might want to lump the Catholic church in with them, though. I think the Catholic church through the ages has the most notches in its gun in terms of human death and suffering. Although if you give those Republicans enough time, they might be able to kill enough brown folk to make a run for Honorable Mention.

Google "Lisa McPherson". Issues like this are why people care. Indentured servitude contract extending over several lifetimes (for real) for people that can't afford their "services" is another reason why people care.

Ok I am not trying to sound mean but doesn't it require that the founder/spokesperson of a weight-loss company be a weight-loss success? I mean I applaud the weight she has lost so far, but I am not sure that she has gained that much "expertise" to start a company because the evidence indicates otherwise. I am not criticizing her size per say but she has been going up and down on her weight since she went on Jenny Craig. I would take weight loss advice from someone who can stop their own yo-yo effect.
