Angelina Jolie Pregnant: Bump On Display At Spirit Awards Confirms News

Angelina Jolie and partner Brad Pitt arrived at the 2008 Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica, Calif. on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008 with pregnancy news on display.
Angelina has been rumored to be expecting another child and she confirmed it with a revealing black dress hugging a prominent bump. This will the fifth (and sixth?) Jolie-Pitt child.

61 comments, and not a single relevant one: It's all in the timing. This was Oscars weekend, and both Brad and Angelina were overlooked by the Academy for their little pet projects / star vehicles. Also, that very night, they were scheduled to go to another, press-free party attended also by Jennifer Aniston - their first run-in in over four years. Apparently, Brangelina chickened out and used another event for their announcement - they couldn't be photographed at the Aniston party. And, in turn, tried to steal the publicity away from the Oscars that had spurned them. They could have followed their own precedent and used third-world children as a backdrop for their announcement, selling the exclusives to People through the backroom deal they have with TimeWarner, but they know people are on to that scam. So, instead, they try to ruin Oscars weekend for everyone. Bitter? These two are extremely calculating. Very wily and crafty. They always do this. They time everything. I absolutely can not believe that anyone continues to fall for their B.S. It is all one giant, manipulative P.R. spin.

She looks like she is starving the poor baby. Even then I feel for the poor baby, it's not like she will stay home and mother it. You never see her even carry the last one, just the adopted ones. And the nick name she gave it, it's like she disliked the poor little girl. Brad Pitt should have a brain check for staying with this emotion lacking woman. She strikes me as a collector of kids, but not much of a mother.

She's pregnant...wow I am soooooooooo ecstatic.

Must be tough for all those kids to get the attention they need with their careers, her UN work and travel to Iraq or Pakistan...it's a little much.

But great if she is pulling it off.Pitt still looks like an accessory...she totally has the power in that relationship.

Why does the MSM have to find a euphemism to talk about women, and the natural courses of our lives? she is pregnant, she has a growing belly. I guess the word pregnant doesn't sound sensational or fragile enough to describe a movie star. I'm pretty sure when the Pitt-Jolie family talks about this baby, thy don't describe the situation as a bump. Can you imagine calling up your friends and saying: I have a bump.

Now how many said she's carrying a fetus that may or may not turn into a baby in several months but only after it's entirely born?

I'm just trying to stir the pot a bit.
My point about calling the belly a "Baby Bump" on a left wing blog is she's considered to have a baby in there until you talk about abortion and then it becomes a fetus, zygote, whatever until it draws it's first breath. It's usually lefties that are pro abortion and foam at the mouth whenever anything is said to contradict the party line.
Again, I really don't care. It's a quiet Sunday morning and I enjoy stirring things up. It doesn't seem to be happening today though.
