Will Ferrell had the funniest exit from a tv show on Letterman Monday night, a skill he's making a habit of. On to promote his basketball comedy "Semi-Pro," out this Friday, he sang his way off the stage with a troupe of children.

From CBS, 2/25

Then on "Today" on Tuesday, Ferrell again had a fantastic exit, throwing a fit and tossing shelves after shooting hoops with Meredith Vieira and costar Woody Harrelson:

HOW does Will Ferrel KEEP GETTING THE SAME CHARACTER AND MOVIE PARTS????

He is NOT funny anymore. One trick pony to the max. I just don't get it and don't care that I don't.

Stewie (From Family Guy) had it right when he traveled cross country from Quahog to Hollywood found Will's house, got a ladder climbed up, pushed the door bell and when Will answered,Stewie knocked his ass out and yelled, "YOU'RE NOT FUNNY!!!"

I am no Sound of Music expert, but I think the whole point of the song is that everyone leaves one by one, as they say goodbye.

I think that would have been funnier, too.

I realized that Will Ferrell is an acquired taste, which I finally acquired. He is hilarious! I love this!

Teenagers love him and his crazy brand of humor. This is the age range of people going to his movies. This is why they keep making these types of movies with similar characters because it's what sells. I thought he was great on SNL.

Americans are sounding more like us Australians everyday, that being the tall poppy syndrome that we have.
They are now acting and talking the same way.

Will Ferrell, Jim Carrey, Robin Williams, Jerry Lewis, all the same juvenile comedians. I find nothing remotely funny about any of their movies.
And Will continues playing the same character over and over again.

Ahh...there's a dial on the TV. When you find something you don't like then you can turn the channel.
Presto, problem solved.
Now quit your bitching you above it all dolt.

I totally agree. I couldn't sit through any of his movies. Although it might have been that stick up my ass.

For a truly interesting WF role that is bittersweet, strange and funny, see the movie, "Winter Passing."

He is brilliant in a very odd picture.

Will Ferrell can be talented and funny - his SNL days was a great showcase, and I liked the fact that in the earlier days of his film career there was a sense of both modesty and surprise when appearing on talk shows.

But the tolerance is wearing thin, particularly with these overblown, legend-in-their-own-mind characters. Hopefully these sports parody movies will fade away after this current release. Its a schtick that has worn out its welcome.

I know everybody thinks this guy's funny, but I find him irritating and nothing more.I've tried and tried to watch his movies(mainly because my 15 year old son seems to always pick out his movies to rent),but I just can't do it.I have never seen the end of a Will Ferrell flick. And I always turn to something else when he comes on TV.
