Why am I not surprised that this filth of a tv show masquerading as entertainment originates in America?

I watched the clip and it was messed up. The father was weird. He looked proud of the daughter.

For a moment, it occurred to me that she might be ashamed of herself and being on the show was her way of punishing herself. I know that's not true, though. I guess she just wanted the money like she said. It's ironic she was screwed over because she lied to herself. If she could have been honest with herself that she's not a good person, she would have stayed in the game.

I don't watch the show. Just this clip. I still won't watch it.

Does anyone remember the movie, Network? I believe that movie was incredibly prophetic. If you haven't seen it, check it out. Considering it was the 1970s, it is sort of like Orwell's 1984 in terms of its predictive quality.

It's storyline revolves around a TV network that specializes in producing shows of this type, and also around how corporations were, at that time, coming to rule the world.

I don't believe in the rapture or an inevitable apocalypse or anything like that. However, when I see the Jerry Springer show, or FOX ,or FOX News, or hear young people like this selling their souls on TV for money, I get the feeling the end cannot be far!

I think this show will eventually be exposed as fake.
