Although a large part of the increases in gas prices *is* due to the falling dollar, last i heard gas prices were rising faster than the dollar was falling, and we had, indeed, hit all-time high pump prices some time ago.
Either way - whether rising prices, falling dollar, or both are driving this, it's the Bush Economic Miracle at work!
Gas on the California Central Coast is $3.89 this weekend. We're going to sail right past $4.00. Bush's comment just prove he's not competent to represent our interests.
I take solace in the fact that he is a Harvard/ Yale graduate, along with Alberto Gonzales, John Kerry, Bush 41, Gerald Ford. Some of the dumbest humans on the earth. I graduated from a small state school in Texas, SFA, and am smarter than all those idiots put together. If you have an Ivy League degree, throw it away and go to the nearest community college. You'll then have something to be proud of.
In the general - they should use this clip where he says "I haven't heard that" offen in political ads along with McCain giving him one of his numerous big ole hugs. Bottom line - McCain loves and supports the dumbass.
Where are all the Bush supporters? ceasesnake made feeble little bleat yesterday, but nobody's even trying to defend Bubble Boy anymore.
For a long time I've wondered whether Bush is really as clueless and out of touch with reality as he appears, or if he's just faking it.
A piece about his goofy interpretation of a painting in the Oval Office strongly implies that he's not faking it.

ignorance as deeply rooted and chronic as Bush's cannot be cured through education - it tells a lot about those who willingly selected this neanderthal to lead them, too.
I saw $4.239 for diesel in Ardsley, NY this afternoon.
Suck my dick George.
George Bush is America's biggest intelligence failure.
Barbara Bush should be chased by the mob with burning torches till she explains why she couldn't bother to use birthcontrol. The explosive brew of oil, Jesus, manifest destiny and PAPA BUSH riding that old battleax have given us W and Jeb. Is there a special hell for smarmy GOP matriarchs?
I believe the giggling freak in the White House along with the bush crime family is an evil wicked curse sent from the depths of hell to torment America and the world!!
$4.23 in California!
OK. "oilman", "preznit", and it REALLY hurts me to say this- the "most powerful man in the world" ugh. Oh, and Royal friend too. "Hadn't heard....." Boy does he think the U.S. is stupid. What a slap in the face. I live in CO and am paying $3.39 right now.
Bush doesn't pay for anything and prices doesn't mean anything to him, only the profits of his father's company , which is his and his childrens inheritance, which people can't show as an income to him for his war.
Bush's whole family has make a very good investment from his invasion of the middle east.
A lot of people seem to be missing the fact that China's energy consumption doubled from 2000 to 2007.
It will probably double again within the next 5 years.
Even if oil production was INCREASING, supply and demand would DEMAND a continuing increase in prices for fossil fuels.
If "peak energy" is a reality, then it's gonna get REALLY ugly.
That isn't to say OPEC, Exxon, and Bushco aren't doing everythign within their power on TOP of this bad situation to make it worse, but trust me, we are going to LONG for the days of $100/bbl oil five years from now.
Why is Bush still only charging Exxon the same price as they paid in the 1960's , for our resources they are taking from our public land with no increase in price when everything else has risen.
Why are the oil companies getting all the tax welfare when when they are receiving record breaking prices which go up every 1/4.
Why is Saudi Arabia cutting their production if they are good friends with U.S...
Our oil companies help them to develope their oil (now I am sure that our oil companies make out also), and Bush Sr. invaded Iraq in the Gulf war against Saddam to protect Saudi Arabia and their oil , and now Bush Jr. has killed Saddam and is destructing Iraq , Iran and Syria power to give Saudi Arabia a controlling power in over those countries in the middle east..
When sh.. stinks you can smell it anywhere.
Exxon, Hallibuton , war contractors , corporations and the elite are now multi-billionaries , controlling and running our country ,,, while American's dollar isn't worst wiping thier a.. on.
Anyone that calls themself an American and can possibly vote or defend Bush and the republicans , can't be wrapped too d... tight, and must have skipped their history of our country and what our constitution is all about.
If you were working and living in Bill Clinton's administration , and now still working and have a job in Bush's term, and you can't see a difference , then you are a hopeless case, and no farther dicussion is necessary...
