Valerie Bertinelli's career resurrection is adding another chapter.
The ex- "One Day at a Time" star, who's out hawking her new autobiography, has signed a deal to develop a syndicated talk show.
"I've been talking to Paramount about doing my own talk show," Bertinelli says in the April issue of Ladies' Home Journal.
The "Paramount" Bertinelli refers to is actually CBS TV Distribution, which produces "Rachael Ray" and "Montel," among other talk shows.
Bertinelli, 47, is reaching a new generation as the spokeswoman for Jenny Craig, a gig that's thrust her back into the spotlight after a long quiet period.
Read more about Valerie's recent autobiography, "Losing It: And How I Gained It Back One Pound At A Time," where she dishes about drugs, marriage to and divorce from Eddie Van Halen and dating Oscar-winning director Steven Spielberg.
