"Moment Of Truth's" Other Man Frank Nardi "Sick" About Appearance, "The Whole Experience Was A Mistake"

The "other man" who helped destroy a marriage on national TV - getting his ex to admit to 8 million viewers that she'd rather be married to him than her hubby - is "sick" over his role in the scandal and says he made a mistake appearing on the show.

"I really just want all of this to be over," Frank Nardi Jr. wrote in an e-mail to The Post yesterday about his stomach-churning appearance on the lie-detector reality show "Moment of Truth" Monday.

The fledgling New York actor, who goes by the online nickname "Nardiballs," also wrote on his MySpace.com page yesterday: "This whole experience was a mistake . . . I haven't been this sick ever in my life.

"It wasn't my intention to go out and ruin a marriage."

But that's what happened when Nardi, 25, turned up as a surprise guest on the controversial Fox show where his one-time gal pal, Lauren Cleri, 26, made viewers squirm after admitting she'd cheated on her husband.

Consider that this broadcast, as any other, is going out into space. When crap like this does get picked up by some technologically advanced civilization, that race will know that we are ripe for the picking. Of course, the time/distance factor will make this too late, as this world will probably be dead anyway, but it does make for an entertaining sci-fi scenario.

This guy didn't ruin the marriage. The money-grubbing whore who humiliated her husband on national TV ruined the marriage. She's pretty disgusting. But, good television, I suppose?

That marriage probably had an expiration date not far in the future; the show only accelerated it. No doubt, though, it was cruel for it to happen on national TV.

It's interesting that this particular show attracted such a spotlight when so much of television for years has been driven by inducing ordinary people to humiliate themselves for a chance of fame or money. This show appears (I say from having seen clips of the penultimate moment only!) to be just a slicker, more seductive and concentrated dose of the same.

there's a line that runs through television shows. kind of an arbitrary line i admit. its the line below which the shows are watched by mostly uncouth dullards. you know the list. draw the line yourself. this show is def below the line. how long is that list? is it the list that helps america circle the drain? kind of a barometer thing?

This show is such a train wreck, I literally sat at the edge of my seat and couldn't leave. Usually I can't sit through anything on TV. This is one of the guiltiest pleasures I've seen in ages. My only regret is that I didn't videotape the show so I could watch it again. And the insane twist at the end, priceless.

Let me tell you something, "Nardiballs" would have screwed Lauren Cleri AND her husband live on national television if he thought it would have gotten him some free publicity.

I can only suppose this "actor" has already gotten an agent to book him on as many shows as possible to express his deep regret and "oh by the way I'm appearing in an off off Broadway productions of Katz, I play the direlect Kat dead under the junk car. We call it Katz because we haven't quite gotten permission but we're working on it and besides this is a great re-imagining of the legend".
