OK, so, in order:
Clip One: The Joker, a sociopathic villain: "Batman"
Clip Two: Jack Torrence, a psychopathic writer who is about to kill his wife and kids and does kill an African-American cook: "The Shining"
Clip Three: Col. Jessup, a psychopathic Marine officer at Guantanamo Bay who allows his troops to kill a gay soldier because of his sexual preference: "A Few Good Men"
Clip Four: Jake, a sleazy private eye : "Chinatown"
Clip Five: Gee, I can't tell if this is "Easy Rider" where he plays a drug dealer or "Carnal Knowledge" where he plays a misogynist, borderline rapist jerk who abuses all women and sex workers equally.
Clip Six: Back to Col. Jessup, "A Few Good Men", who in this clip is advocating sleeping with superior officers in direct contravention of military law.
Clip Seven: Jack nowadays, in sunglasses even indoors because he is a vampire.

Priceless. Pefect for HRC's campaign.... You couldn't make stuff like this up.

I love Jack (at least 1969 Jack) as much as the next guy, but associating your political campaign with a misogynistic coke head is a bit of a "what the .... " particularly with a on the fence right winger like hillary.

Then of course there is the happy A-OK to breaking U.S. copyright law, as neither Jack nor Hillary owns any of these clips. Good luck with that when they send you the fines... but wait, ironically I doubt the MPAA will step in as Hillary is behind them in suing 12 yr olds, rating Video Games and all kinds of other nefarious censorship activities.

Again another reason on how using old Jack Nicholson seems to ridicule her campaign

Hillary and the media are the ones giving her supporters false hopes. She has no chance to win the election unless she resorts to dirty tricks, just like the Joker. They keep on telling us that you cannot count the Clintons out but Hillary never came back from anything in her career. In the run to the Senate she was the front runner and if she could come back we would have health care right now. Bill was the comeback kid who lost his Arkansas Gubernatorial race but came back to win the next cycle. Bill came back from scandal to have over a 65% when he left the white house not Hillary who never got her negatives below 40%. OBAMA HAS HAD THE PLEDGE LEAD IN DELEGATES SINCE THE FIRST CONTEST IN IOWA.


The media is also giving Hillary's campaign much more positive coverage than it deserves. Hillary won New Hampshire by a measly 3 points and won Nevada even though she got one less pledge delegate. Then she was supposed to close out Obama on Super Tuesday and after all the votes were counted he ended up with more pledge delegates again. Then Hillary loses 11 contests in a row and she makes her firewalls the Texas and Ohio primaries. Even if she squeaks by in Texas and Ohio, Obama will still have a relatively large pledge delegate lead, but the media will make it sound like she is back in the race. Hillaryland has already said if they lose a close race in Texas or Ohio that her campaign might continue. Basically her campaign will be like sharks trolling around waiting for some blood, because they are hoping something bad comes out against Obama so they can claim victory. Maureen Dowd put it best with regards to the press being against Hillaryland.


"Beating on the press is the lamest thing you can do. It is only because of the utter open-mindedness of the press that Hillary can lose 11 contests in a row and still be treated as a contender."


I saw a few pundits in the media and show quote because some of them realized that she is just running a vanity campaign at this point. Having the Joker in her latest commercial is fitting because Hillary and the media are playing you all like Jokers. Hillary's hard core supporters will stay with her through thick and thin because they believe she is entitled to be coronated Queen Hillary.

Does Hillary and her entourage think that people won't associate the clips with the films they relate to?
Look at 3 of the characters Nicholson played and whose character clips are somehow supposed to help Hilarious get the nomination:
Jack Torrance (the Shining) was a maniacal author/would be wife killer
Col. Jessup (A Few Good Men) was a loose cannon zealot who broke the law to get what HE thought was Right costing a marine his life
Robert Dupea (5 Easy Pieces) was a low-life, selfish, confused, aggressive, anti-social man who mistreated a girlfriend, had an affair with his brother's fiance and ended up ditching his girlfriend at
a gas station.
Then for an aging and unkempt Nicholson to then appear at the end and say that he approves of the ad further debases the credibility. Why he didn't have Kobe Bryant (the cheat, like Bill Clinton) come on the add too is beyond me.
Truly a great add...for Obama and certainly not for Hillary. How f'ing Stupid!

Isn't it ironic that in three of the roles - the joker, COL Jessup, and the Shining - are psychopaths and/or crooks that meet less than happy endings? And in Easy Rider, don't they have a smoke a toke scene, way to criticize drug use Hilary. Seems that the unconscious came out with the making of this campaign add. Is this really an ad to support Hilary or to further ridicule her campaign. Either way the roles of the characters are a perfect choice for her campaign

Cool in the same sort of way that I like the Bud Bowl commercials during the Superbowl but there's no way I'd drink Budweiser.

I'm an Obama supporter....I also love Jack.....I think this is a cute ad....I would not vote for someone based on an actor endorsing them...maybe it will show Hillarys "human" side....I don't know what she hopes to gain from this ad...any Hillary supporters care to say what she may gain from this??

Good lord. I like Clinton. I'm not voting for her because she's too indecisive and ready to please the powers that be, to make a good president. But I like her. And I like Jack Nicholson. But this ad makes both of them look ANCIENT, almost vaudevillian, in their view of America. It could just as easily be an ad for insurance for seniors. "What are YOU going to do, when the robots come for you...?"

Yikes...this is supposed to help her?? A homicidal maniacs, sexist pig soldier,drunks? She just does not get being cool. You can't be cool by hanging out with cool people. Yuk
