Stewart opened the interview by saying that "this election is about judgment, and tomorrow is perhaps one of the most important days of your life, and yet you've chosen to spend the night before talking to me." Clinton responded, "It is pretty pathetic." The interview then turned more serious and focused on the race for the Democratic nomination.
