Election Central has obtained a copy of a new anti-McCain ad sponsored by the group Campaign To Defend America:

The Campaign to Defend America -- which will be running ads on issues like Iraq, the economy, energy, and health care, from a bent that appears to be pro-Democratic -- is spending more than $1,000,000 on the buy, the group tells me.

The Republicans do not want a clone or puppet of President Bush in John McCain. President Bush's endorsement has done more harm than good. The body language of John McCain spoke volumns with his fists clenched and his teeth clenched all the while President Bush talked and answered his questions for him. What happened in that POW camp? The Republicans do not need someone in the White House with an out of control temper and with his train of thought being boggled. Has anyone suggested Anger Management for John McCain? The Media and Press did an outstanding job on picking up of that and continue to focus on what is best for our nation. I take my hat off to them for keeping the American public informed. The Republicans are going to select the next leader of our country and that is future Madam Hillary Clinton. Never in the history of the Republican Party has so many switched to the next best leader of our country knowing far well that they are going against their own party, but most importantly knowing who they want to run this country in the best possible way.

Yeah, give us more . . . interchange Hillary w/ McCain in same commercial - "C'est Bush"!

Clinton and McCain are one in the same, especially where: "experience", the War Vote, Cheating Husbands, PAC/Special Interest Affiliation, fear mongering, etc. etc. etc is concerned. Now I see why it's easy for you to vote McCain over an "inexperienced" Obama.

Talk about principled voting with a purpose . . . . it's a shame you feel the need to vote based in "ignorant fear" . . . it's no way to live.

Run it during reality TV shows, over and over again. Those are the clueless idiots who are going to need it drilled into them.

Do we get happy meal toys with this jerk?

One thing for sure, he will help reduce unemployment - more soldiers!

I swear, that photo of McCain hugging bush reminds me of a scene from an Austin Powers movie, where Dr. Evil tries to hug his son. It is too funny.

Hey, I read your comments. How many of you are doing something about it? You claim it's true, you say you recognize it, and yet you'll vote for one of the 'contenders'. Where were you when Kucinich needed your vote, or Gravel? What about McKinney? Or Nader? Tell me, how the hell does change, real change, get into the White House if you don't vote for it? Next subject, this one's tired.

Gravel, McKinney,.Nader—none of these people has the temperament to be president. I liked Dennis, but even he knew he was not going to get the nomination. His main goal was to push the debate away from corporate centrism. Which he did, with a little help from Edwards.

Can we get back to the real world now?

Don't have the temperament to be president? Give me a break. You do know who is president right? And you do know who is one step away from being president right? You have no logical argument here.

Funny - Where's the congressional version of this?

The one that shows Denny Hastert's head superimposed over Nancy Pelosi's body. The one that shows Bill Frist's head superimposed over Harry Reid's body.

Seems to me that even with the Dem's having control of the congress, it's still more of the same.

I know, I know ... Already heard the lame excuses before ... (sniff, sniff) we don't have "enough" of a majority. Lame!

Really? How so? Be specific. This thread is about McCain and bush, not barack and Hillary.

What a great ad!! Now all we need to do is show Hillary's head in the same ad and there will be a level playing field.
