The real message of Tuesday's primaries is not that Hillary won. It's that she didn't win by enough.

The race is over.

The results are already clear. Obama will go to the Democratic Convention with a lead of between 100 and 200 elected delegates. The remaining question is: What will the superdelegates do then? But is that really a question? Will the leaders of the Democratic Party be complicit in its destruction? Will they really kindle a civil war by denying the nomination to the man who won the most elected delegates? No way. They well understand that to do so would be to throw away the party's chances of victory and to stigmatize it among African-Americans and young people for the rest of their lives. The Democratic Party took 20 years to recover from the traumas of 1968 and it is not about to trigger a similar bloodletting this year.

I think Dick Morris is the biggest sleazebag in Washington. He's a whore to whoever pays him. I do, however painful it is, I have to agree with him on this one. I don't see how Clinton can possibly win the nomination...

WHO IS DICK MORRIS/?? Who really cares what he thinks anyway. Why should we hand over this presidency to this new guy who has yet to show us any kind of background. In a nationwide poll released on March 8th, Survey USA detailed the results of 600 interviews in each of the 50 States (30,000 total interviews).

In a head-to-head matchup, Obama beats McCain by 22 Electoral College votes, while Clinton beats McCain by 14 votes.

However, what is more striking about the results, should they pan out through the General Election, is that there is little evidence to support HRC's contention that to win the Presidency, the nominee also needs to win in the 'big states'.

Specifically, of the 13 States where HRC has thus far beaten Obama in the race for the Democratic Nomination, there would be an overlap of only 2 States, in her contest against McCain. HRC would win only Arkansas and New Jersey.

Of the remaining 11 States, 5 would be won by either Obama or Clinton: California, Massachusetts, New Mexico, New York and Ohio ("as goes Ohio, so goes the Nation�").

Of the remaining 6 States, 4 would be lost irrespective of Obama or Clinton being the nominee: Arizona, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas.

Of the remaining 2 States, Obama would actually fair better by beating McCain, whereas Clinton would have lost: Nevada and New Hampshire.

So much for the 'big state' argument, not to mention the 'dream ticket' idea - HRC would be a handicap.

Many of these folks know that Obama should not have all of this Hillary drama in his face, but Losers like to see others scramble. What about this Dem Party? Why are we being so hard on getting our Nominee named so we can get behind him to make his journey to the WH an all American dream? Why didn't we smell the coffee and tell Hil and Obama after March should you have the most delegates it's over for the one who does not? Why are folks afraid of Hil & Bil? They can't even manage a camp must less manage the WH. So, Why don't others stand up like DM and tell Hil, You ran a good race, but IT"S OVER. Obama is leading in delegates. With SDs he;s leading. With MO he is leading. Bring all the other SDs and add to Obama and let him continue this race to gather the means ( votes) to this end. This is what the Rep did for McC, but Hil does not want to share in the Democratic dream, She'd rather see the Dem Party split and lose out, because she is too selfish to see America come to prosperity. She wants to be the winner... duh, she will never be a winner in anything. Listen to DM suspend Hil, ;and Vote Obama all the way to victory.

You have proven over and over again that you are no gentleman, have no sense of honor or dignity and have no problem deceiving anyone.

Your article carries about as much weight as your word - NIL.

It looks like you're still up to the same smarmy stuff you were up to in the past. Maybe taking a course in decency would help. But then again, like attracts like and you're obviously in - equal status company.

I just giggle when this guy says anything, you know the guy who obviously has some strange yen for Bill Clinton so much so that he is intent on breaking up the Clinton marriage. Believing that this guy, the triangulator, has any credibility to comment on anything is a real stretch. Further, what he says is always so self serving. Poor thing, he is to be pitied I guess. But in the moral category, he has little credibility to talk about Hillary.
