Should Spitzer resign he would lose his superdelegate status. Spitzer is in Clinton's corner on our endorsement list. He would be replaced by Lt. Governor David Paterson who is already a superdelegate and Clinton endorser. This may bring the total number of superdelegates back to 794 depending on how this plays out.

The optics on his ethics suggest...not much there. Can it be assumed moral decisions will follow?

Why doesn't the superdelegate status automatically go to his wife?

Why is HRC not arguing for that right now?

After all, HRC claims her experience as the political wife of a philandering governor and then, a philandering president as being equivalent to the experience of being the governor or president himself.

Therefore, the superdelegate status should go to Mrs. Elliot Spitzer ... every bit as much as Mrs. William Jefferson Clinton should be president.

In other words...not at all.
