Pelosi Dream Ticket

Via Politico:

Nancy Pelosi tells Boston TV that a Clinton-Obama or Obama-Clinton ticket is "impossible."

"I think that the Clinton administration has fairly ruled that out by proclaiming that Senator McCain would be a better Commander in Chief than Obama. I think that either way is impossible," she said.

Also: "Nothing ever resolves itself -- it has to be resolved by some outside forces," she said.

Clinton and Obama is not even a dream ticket. Not even close. I'd rather see Obama extend that honor to Edwards, Howard Dean, Christine Gregoire, Kathleen Sebelius, Bill Richardson, or even Dennis Kucinich. Clinton waged far too negative a campaign, too vicious. She'd never take a VP position at this point, and she doesn't have the delegates to even rationally consider winning this thing to afford Obama a VP position (nor would he probably take it after the garbage she's been spewing through her surrogates).

If there was a Clinton and Obama ticket, the only message it would send is that, yet again, there's absolutely no authenticity or truthfulness to politics in either party. A lot of Obama's momentum and supporters would probably be deflated, and his cross-party influence and pull with independents would be greatly diminished. He'd be seen as a fake, just like a lot of people are seeing Hillary Clinton these days.

Somebody! Anybody There! If you're listening; Please tell the Democrats they supposed to be opposed to the Republican party. Right now, watching the way all of them are sniping and tearing chunks out of each other, it is as if there isn't any other Political party they need to worry about. From where I'm standing the whole thing looks like a cat fight in an alley. Seriously, if I was entitled to vote for any of them I would be looking around desperately for another, honest, Party to be involved with. No morals, little honesty and definitely no class.

I fail to see how Hillary can claim that McCain has as much experience as she. As far as I know, he has never been married to a president.

This article will have rolled off the front page long before all of the comments are posted. What is the point of commenting if it takes days for them to be displayed?

Are the Clinton campaign 'experts' running the HuffPo?

Let's stop calling it the kitchen sink when it's obviously a pit toilet.

Going back to 1976, I cannot recall a Democrat running a campaign like this.

All u people talking about a V.P for B.O, forget it, it won't happen. If he win the nomination, Hillary followers won't vote for him, and his follower's won't vote for Hillary. So all this hoopla is nonsense, MCcain, will be the next POTUS.

Pelosi should resign, she's as weak as them come. She's a poor speaker of the house, she's like the former Gov. of Louisiana, all talk and no substance.

If Obama were to choose Hillary for his VP, how long do you think he would last as POTUS?

Pelosi needs to pay more attention to her own short-comings. I'm appalled that she would even weigh in on this ridiculous issue. As a woman who broke one glass ceiling, she is out of line making a statement without looking at the whole story. Not to mention, if this country is basing their opinion on women in high political places on the job Nancy Pelosi has done as Speaker, it'll be another 10 decades before another woman will get anywhere.

I'm glad that Pelosi has spoken out. I interpret this as Pelosi speaking on behalf of the Democratic members of Congress. This is a big rebuke of Clinton.

I wonder if lots of members of Congress have heard from their constituents about Clinton's shameful behavior. I know that I sent this note to my congresswoman (who has endorsed Clinton) a few days ago:

Why do you continue to support Hillary Clinton as she repeatedly endorses McCain?

Do you endorse McCain as well? If Hillary does not get the nomination, do you want to see McCain and his 'lifetime of experience' elected president?

If you do not endorse McCain over Obama, then you should come out RIGHT NOW and rescind your endorsement of Clinton.

Clinton's repeated denigration of Obama, in the same sentence she praises McCain, should be creating an OUTCRY among Democratic officeholders, as it has already created in internet message boards. Added to her shameful performance on 60 minutes when asked about the rumors that Obama is a muslim, Clinton has crossed the line.

Please rescind your endorsement of Hillary Clinton now.

Go Nancy Pelosi!!!

While I don't agree with her decision to not bring up impeachment proceedings against the cabal now in power (the House support for it is limited, at best, mostly due to the Republicans), this statement is completely accurate.

Dems need to rally around the eventual nominee and forget the primaries until after winning in November. Then, we need to clean up our act and make it a Dem rule to not scandalize and use falsehoods or inaccurate or misleading comments. "Stick to the facts, folks" should be the mantra in 2010 & 2012 and beyond.

Pelosi is amused that when she opens her mouth...pencils hit notebooks!
She made me sick, during the State of the Nation address...sitting there next to the Bull Walrus and
smiling and clapping in unison with D.C.

Her credibility is shot.
