Sinbad Speaks Out On Trip To Kosovo With Hillary

Finally, the Barack Obama campaign has found a big gun to help shoot down Hillary Rodham Clinton's self-proclaimed foreign policy experience. And he may be the wackiest gun of all: Sinbad, the actor, who has come out from under a rock to defend Obama in the war over foreign policy credentials....

...In an interview with the Sleuth Monday, he said the "scariest" part of the trip was wondering where he'd eat next. "I think the only 'red-phone' moment was: 'Do we eat here or at the next place.'"

That is not Sinbad in the picture attached to his headline. Are all black men the same? Will any black face do to represent another? Is Geraldine Ferraro or Pat Buchannon running the day to day operation of HuffPo?

Thank you Sinbad . . . we all knew she was exaggerating big time . . . .

Sounds to me like SInbad is trying to revive his career. Funny how there is no bitchin about him performing for WalMart in 07? Do I smell a double standard?

Keith Olbermann on MSNBC is going to make a Special Comment about the Clinton campaign tonight. This to m e is significant because he often talks about his fondness for the Clintons. She has clearly crossed the line and party supporters know it.

I'm not aware of an official retort to this. That means the truth has been found and there are six weeks to get the message out.

I bet Hill hopes the Ferraro comments and Spitzer affair keep the MSM too busy to focus on this and her tax returns. Racial divisions and victim guilt for Ferraro would both help her in Pennsylvania. Finding out that she's not the most experienced Dem and is hiding more than any of her loyalists want to believe would swing that state faster than a Hillary mood.

Great picture - it's just not of Sinbad.

I think the Clintons believe that if you repeat a lie long enough it becomes a truth. Her whole argument of experience is laughable. It's not something a first lady should have argued. It makes it seem as though she was riding the coat tails of her husband. She should have run on a platform of reform.

Best quote of the entire article:

As Sinbad put it: "What kind of president would say, 'Hey, man, I can't go 'cause I might get shot so I'm going to send my wife...oh, and take a guitar player and a comedian with you.'"

EXACTLY!!!!

And sure Sinbad would characterize the Bosnia situation as Bloods and Crips because of how the situation was commonly described - like gang warfare it was internecine warfare between people that lived previously next door to each other with moments of fragile peace bounded by unexpected flare-ups, bombings and sniper shootings.

The funniest part of this post is that the black man in the picture is NOT Sinbad!!! HAHAHAHAH!

Hillary is so arrogant to expect people to believe her gross exaggerations and distortions. Imagine what she would be like as President? As if Bush was'nt disasterous enough!

I thought it was very amusing when she claimed to save Northern Ireland by having tea and biscuits in a cafe with a group of women from different sides of town! (who were friends already!). Bill was good though, he charmed people into agreement with him.

She should broker peace with the gangs in some of America's inner cities, which sadly are much more violent than many so called war zones!

One Latte...$10. One air ticket to Kosovo....$500. Being linked to Sinbad in any way during a Presidential Election year....PRICELESS!

Hillary's touting her trip to Bosnia as "harrowing international experience" is ludicrous. It was more like a USO tour. It's like me saying that I have international experience because I shopped at The World Market.

Come on Sinbad, come up with a good sound bite, or being that you were with her on her mission, I guess that would give you the necissary experience needed. I was wondering who he was voting for, who Sheryl Crowe is voting for?

"from under a rock" I assume that gratuitous phrase was put in the story to lessen the credibility of the allegations.

The fact that Chelsea went along for the ride tells you everything you need to know. Either Hillary is unfit to be a parent, by putting her kid in such a "dangerous" situation. Or FAR more likely, the situtation wasn't actually as "dangerous" as Hillary would like us to think.

Wait a minute...let me get this straight. Using Hillary's criteria, I guess Sinbad has foreign policy experience.

Remember, USO folks do go into all sorts of war zones. Just ask Jessica Simpson--she'll tell you how tense and scary things are in Iraq but I doubt anyone would qualify her singing for soldiers as Foreign Policy Experience?

In all seriousness, ALL war zones are dangerous and of course everyone who went on that trip recognized that the situation on the ground was tense. However, recognizing that things were tense and bad on the ground doesn't mean these people on the TOUR (because that's what it was) were necessarily in tremedous danger to direct exposure to street fights or IEDs.. Secret Service and the Military provided security and you can be sure that the first lady, Chelsea, Sheryl Crow, and Sinbad were NEVER trudging through the streets, carrying M-16s and shooting at snipers.

The question remains, how does this USO trip support Sen. Clinton's claim this event translates into Foreign Policy experience? Isn't this a "wee bit silly" claim?

ROTFL .. hahah ...

"" In her Iowa stump speech, Clinton also said, "We used to say in the White House that if a place is too dangerous, too small or too poor, send the First Lady."

Say what? As Sinbad put it: "What kind of president would say, 'Hey, man, I can't go 'cause I might get shot so I'm going to send my wife...oh, and take a guitar player and a comedian with you.'" ""

Since Sinbad gleened the same experience in Bosnia as Hillary and Chelsea.....
Sinbad for Secretary of State!

So at the end of the piece, Clinton spokesperson Singer points out that Obama's never been to Bosnia.

Well he certainly could have, if he'd been married to Bill at the time.
