Geraldo Wouldn't Be Surprised If Spitzer's Hooker "Turns Out To Be An Illegal On Lou Dobbs' Show"

Earlier this month, Geraldo Rivera told the ladies of "The View" that he wouldn't shake the hand of the "shameful" "hate-monger" Lou Dobbs. Last night on "The Colbert Report," he accused the far right of scapegoating illegal immigrants and said, "I wouldn't be surprised if Eliot Spitzer's hooker turns out to be an illegal on Lou Dobbs' show."

Colbert also questioned Geraldo about his book, His Panic, why he keeps the mustache, and previous disparaging comments Geraldo has made against Comedy Central.

Dobbs is right on this issue. Only in America could a man or women come into this country and stay w/o repercussions. Try doing that in Paris. Or Perhaps Canada. Won't happen. I suppose a lot of you people don't live in the southwest. B.c if you did you would'nt be saying idiotic crap.

Geraldo must be having a slow work year. He is trying to re-invent himself as the lonely illegal immigrant. This tweedle dee will do and say almost anything to get attention. Lou Dobbs, on the other hand has been over the top with his hate rant...unfortunately, because he really does have some good stats. However, he nearly spits when he starts lambasting them. Loses credibility...something ole Gerry does NOT have anyway.

Lou is the only one standing up for us. Our country is being overrun with ILLEGAL ALIENS. We spend BILLIONS to provide an education and health care for people who don't belong here. We need to use this money on our own citizens. More journalists should be reporting about the MILLIONS of ILLEGAL ALIENS in our country and what is happening to our educational and health care systems because of them being in our here.

Geraldo has a big mouth, is a publicity hound, and not the brightest guy around, but I do agree with him in his opinion of that pompous wind bag Lou Dobbs, I also "wouldn't shake the hand of the "shameful" "hate-monger" Lou Dobbs". He constantly inflames prejudices by running sensational stories, but only offers his moral indignation, not solutions. Identifying problems is easy, solving them in a democracy can be hard because of various conflicting interests. And now I hear this blowhard has his own radio show. Doesn't he ever stop talking?

Apparently "truthy" means you believe things that sound true but really aren't: The Jerry Rivers thing is an urban myth. True, "Gerald" is his given name, but his father's side of his family refers to him as "Geraldo" and his family name is Rivera.
