Colbert spoke earlier this week of how he was in the middle of a "Spitzer Sandwich" owing to the fact that he'd hosted the officially-former-on-Monday New York Governor Eliot Spitzer on "The Colbert Report" on Tuesday, February 12th — the night before his assignation in D.C. with Emperor's Club VIP call girl Ashley Alexandra Dupré (aka "Kristen") and, in a particularly cringe-inducing detail, two days before Valentine's Day, which presumably he spent with his wife, Silda Wall Spitzer.
