As was reported on Bill Moyers' Journal on PBS, the reporters spent much time and effort uncovering these earmarks, which are buried deep within documents in Congress. The website gives the earmarks and campaign contributions from the recipients. Two questions arise in my mind:
First: Most of Senator Clinton's earmarks are for huge defense contractors. Does this mean she will be obligated to them to continue the occupation of Iraq? These defense contractors benefit enormously.
Second: Northrup Grumman, which teamed with the French company, AirBus, for the huge Air Force transport plane contract, is her second largest earmark. Boeing is opposing this contract. Any jobs resulting from this contract will be in Alabama and Mississippi. The Senators, House members, and governors from these states are very supportive of the Bush administration. Washington state has a Democratic governor.

Seams to me obama is in full sleaze mode again. I would suggest obama tend to his racist minister and close ties to him.

Well, I think it's really unfair that there aren't any comments here defending Clinton's secretiveness. I want you all to know that I know lots of good reasons why Hillary isn't open and honest, and you should trust me and Hillary in this because we wouldn't want to have to call you a "Hillary Hater" -- just like all those republicans out there used to be.

This is another example of how people are being silly. If one wants to find out about money requests from their senators, they can certainly use the government website to find out. What is more interesting than the money that is requested, is what is NOT requested. We have one of the nuclear power plants here in Illinois leaking radioactive waste into ground water. I saw no request for funding to fix that. Lots of money for universities. Nothing that lowers the property tax rate in Illinois. Hillary will be ending the biggest freakin' earmark of them all.. .Iraq.

Let's see, Obama sits down with reporters and answers all their questions about Resko. Obama releases his tax returns. Obama discloses his earmark allocations.

On the other hand, Hillary keeps promising to release her tax returns some time after taxes, or some time before the general election. Hillary also promises that moving forward, she will disclose her earmark allocations, but she won't even answer the question about where past earmarks went.

Okay Hillarites, what defense do you offer for her going to great lengths to keep such things secret?

The headline SHOULD read:

The way it is now, it sounds like she won't release earmarks just like Obama (DIDN'T release them).

Clinton source of donations, Marc Rich and wife, have a very shady past, even more than the criminal charges that put Rich in jail. Rich was involved in money deals with none other than George Soros, money deals that were crooked. Soros as we know, was a staunch supporter of the Clintons and was the force behind getting Bill Clinton to pardon Rich, one of the biggest tax evaders in USA history. A much closer look needs to be taken at Clintons, Rich, and Soros and the Soros media puppets MoveOn and Media Matters, and many others fronts Soros has put up to hide his control of politicians.

This fact, alone, should convince any sane person not to vote for her. She is putting the whole party and the election at risk by withholding this information. Because it WILL come out if she is the nominee against McCain. The GOP will drag the Clintons from here to the North Pole and back. She will never win against McCain, because whatever she is holding back is damning enough that she doesn't want voters to see it prior to the nominee confirmation. Her ambition is more important than we are.
