Yesterday the New York Post reported that Dina Matos McGreevey, the estranged wife of former New Jersey Governor and "gay American" James McGreevey, participated in threesomes with the governor and his driver.

Today, Dina Matos McGreevey is calling the allegations "completely false." Matos is claiming the sex tales are retribution from her husband who "cannot stand it when I am receiving attention in the media rather than him."

Keep reading below and here:

Just when it seemed the Jim McGreevey scandal -- governor's gay affair with a top aide, nasty divorce court hearings, child custody spats -- couldn't get any more tawdry, it does.

McGreevey's now estranged wife, Dina Matos McGreevey, heatedly denied to ABCNews.com today the latest allegation -- that she took part in numerous sexual threesomes that included McGreevey and his driver.

Responding to my question, I got a reply from someone who worked for McGreevey.

You can all stop saying "IF it's true ..." .

and start saying "I don't care THAT it's true.".

A few observations:

First, a pox on all their houses. Whatever their sexual orientations, they all seem to deserve each other. It's just a shame they decided to share with the rest of us.

Second, either Pederson's a really cheap date or there is a vastly underreported romantic frisson at T.G.I. Fridays that might merit further exploration.

Third, how is it that McGreevey and Spitzer resign while Vitter and Craig still sit in the Senate; and yet somehow the Democratic Party gets the rap for being weak on personal responsibility?

Fourth, just when you think you probably ought to shower and disinfect after shaking the hand of any politician regardless of party, someone like David Paterson is thrust into the limelight and behaves with such grace, intellect, humor and humanity that you remember there are actually some public servants left.

Whether or not Dina participated in threesomes, I"ve always doubted her story.

Normally I would say - who cares - but Dina McGreevey has written a book and has been showing up for interviews after the Spitzer issue broke.

If Dina wants to make herself a bit of a public figure, well, if someone drops the other shoe on her issues - I think that its fair to cover it.

Whether or not it is true - who really knows at this point, of course she will deny it if it is a lie - but after what she has been saying she has no choice but to deny it if it is true.

Careful everyone.

The driver says he has provided testimony under oath. And the McGreevey's are in a divorce process.

They would all three be well advised not to add perjury to their list of sins.

What is with you Democratics?

Republicans have a Congressman who got in trouble to things he wrote and a Senator who got in trouble for something he tried to do, and a Senator who did something years ago and told his wife.

You guys have 2 Governors, 2 Congressmen, and a President for Crissake! And I may have forgotten a few miscreants. Now add this revelation. You must be so proud.

Well admittedly none of them are as cool as a guy who solicits sex in an airport bathroom stall, but they're alright in their own ways.

Proud to say that I am not a Republican.... that's all I need to day.

How's that score card working out for you? you seem to be missing a few items, but i'm sure you can google "republican sinners" and get the list completed. might need extra paper tho.
Just sayin'.

The difference is that the Conservatives want to impose their morality on others and tell everyone else how to live a good life. When someone holds themselves up and pushes their morality - ala Spitzer, Vitter, Craig, et al... and then they are off doing the type of stuff they bash others for, etc... yeah - it is a bigger story than someone who doesn't push their morality via their office.

Thing is, none of ours are running on or kissing the a** of those that want a platform of religion first/anti-homo hate mongering. Sex is something people do. It happens in a lot of different forms. Let's not hide under a right wing freakish rock and try to pretend Jesus will make it all go away, which, is exactly what just about every one of your Repugnicans took a position of. In a word, hypocrisy.

So, no breaks for you guys... Not until we can put all the moralistic posturing aside and discuss real issues. Impeachment for war crimes, not blow jobs in the White House. Jail time for lies and out right destruction of our Constitution, not fabricated long term Kenneth Starr investigations. For Crissake!

I haven't heard any moral outrage from the talk radio goons about the New York Post's baseless accusations. If McGreevy was a Repub, you'd be hearing nothing but whining about how the "liberal media" wouldn't cover this unless it was a Republican, and demands for the reporter to be reprimanded or fired. It is amazing how shallow the "liberal media" claim is; both sides get ramrodded by the press.

For Heaven's Sake can the rumours. It is none of our business and I for one don't want to know what goes on in other people's bedrooms.

Looks like McGreevy's confirmed it.
