Washington Times:

Ron Paul says the legions of newcomers his presidential campaign brought to the Republican Party are getting the cold shoulder from John McCain and from the party.

The Texas congressman says neither he nor his supporters have heard from Mr. McCain or Republican National Committee Chairman Mike Duncan since March 4, when the Arizona senator accumulated enough delegates to clinch the party's presidential nomination.

Paul Ron.

We need YOU as a viable third party! YES, run Ron run.

Paul Ron Paul run. Run, run, run.

Libertarian signs are waiting to go up for you!

Even thousands of the old signs before Paul Ron got creamed by the GOP are still up! There is still time!

Run, run, run.

Ugh.

Third party candidates are not viable. Despite waht you've been told by the media, John McCain does not have the republican nomination "clinched." Ron Paul's best bet is to stay in the republican race and win at the republican convention, which will be brokered. Most states have not even elected their national delegates yet, and Ron Paul has a strong grassroots campaign that is oriented toward getting his supporters in those national delegate spots. McCain's campaign does not have the passion, or even the funding of Paul's campaign. Have some faith! Ron Paul is THE only republican candidate who has a chance against a democratic candidate, but only if he's nominated as a republican and the media is forced to give him the attention he deserves.

I have actually given this some thought and think if Senator Obama is the nominee, if and when Rep. Paul leaves the race, there should be a concerted effort on the part of democrats and Obama supporters to reach out to Ron Paul supporters.

If you think about, the top issues for Paul supporters, not unlike many democrats, is the war in Iraq and the Bush administrations war on the constitution. Senator Obama was against the war and is a constitutional scholar and although he doesn't speak alot about it in tv appearances, he does talk about the constitution and restoring rights taken away by Bush at his rallies. Also, the top two candidates receiving contributions from enlisted military personnel are Senator Obama and Ron Paul.

Ron Paul has consistently been receiving 2%-5% of the vote and even much higher than that in western states such as Nevada, Washington and Utah. With elections being as close as they have over the last few election cycles, a few extra percentage points could go along way.

Oh please Obama only opposed the war in Iraq because it he was running in an anti-war state, and Const? please Sen Obama voted to renew the patriot act and he will implement the highest tax increase in American History -- this Paul voter would vote Clinton over Obama ANY DAY

I am a Ron Paul supporters who will NOT support Barack Obama, no matter how much of a concerted effort is launched toward me. Obama has proven he is NOT in favor of the Constitution or against the Iraq war, by voting the reauthorize the Patriot Act and continue to fund the Iraq war. Open your eyes! Obama is a fraud who will say anything people want to hear for his own personal gain!

Ron Paul has been telling it like it is for a very long time. He said attacking Iraq was wrong. He predicted the current financial crisis. He offered solutions - and still does - but the ruling class has too much to lose to allow his message a fair hearing.

McCain would gladly accept the Paultards votes if he could get them to leave their parent's basements.

McCain is a whore who would accept anyone's votes. So? The myth Ron Paul's supporters are a bunch a kids who live with their parents was busted months ago. Try to keep up.

Ron Paul, while I didn't agree with some of your ideas, I found much of your program appealing. Why don't you now move over to my side? I hope Huckanbee and his supporters will too. I'm for Barack Obama. We have seen the viciousness of some conventional wisdom politicians. But they can't fool us all. Did you see Mike's comments on Obama? That was nice. And as a fellow white Southerner, I was not at all surprised by Mike's comments on Wright either. I wish I could hear yours publically.
The real need in this country is to be united. Obama is doing what he can. But he needs help. Huckabee has spoken out giving him some. I believe that you might too.
This campaign is bigger than old Republican and Democratic name caling. It is about whether we continue to go down Bush's way with Hillary or McCain,or try a new way (that was our old way before we lost our way.) While we were never perfect, we tried to become more so. Until recently.
Don't stop talking. We need all honest voices raised. We will find we have much in common even in our disagreements. What we cannot afford now is a President Morebush, of either party.

I'm a Ron Paul supporter who would never, ever support Barack Obama, even if Ron Paul himself ordered me to, not that he would. Barack Obama can claim all day and night he represents "change," but the truth is he voted to reinstate the Patriot Act and continue funding the Iraq war. He's just more of the same.

"Natural Born Citizen" is not equivalent to "citizen at birth". It hinges on "birthplace", "bloodline", and "statute".

Being born on a U.S. military facility does not make a person a "natural born citizen".

The Act of 1790 was repealed by the Act of 1795. One of the most obvious changes was the removal of the words "natural born". McCain is actually too young to become president if anyone is relying on the Act of 1790. He'd have to be over 200 years old. (Born between 1790 and 1795)

From 1795 to 1934 the Naturalization acts of the U.S. were revised numerous times, none confer "natural born citizen" status to children of citizens born out of the limits and jurisdiction of the United States; they only confer "citizen" status. Full citizenship to be sure; but in this one narrow, significant way different in that none but "natural born citizens" are permitted to become President and Vice President.

The treaty which created the Panama Canal Zone did not cede that territory to the United States.
Look up the Tracewell 1904 New York Times quote. And ask yourself why we no longer possess it if it was ceded to the U.S?

This is not a theory, this is not a joke, this is non-trivial, and this is important to anyone who honors the oath of office and oath of military service. Protection of the constitution is not attained with a wink and a nod and a wasted election cycle.

If McCain's eligibility proves false, August is too late to find out about it.

Republicans: You had better care about this, sticking you head in the sand isn't going to keep the Democrats from uncovering an inconvenient truth.

To be fair, I have a hard time believing many if any of Ron Paul's people would embrace McCain. Many of them are not even done fighting:

http://tinyurl.com/2ls3oy

"But the most politically explosive resolution called for repealing
the Missouri Republican Party requirement that all of the state's 58
GOP presidential delegates back the victor in the Feb. 5 primary: U.S.
Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., now the presumptive presidential nominee."

I love it.

Lots to love about that.
Now we have people in *both* parties attempting to change the rules retro-actively.

I get the reference, but the similarities are weaker than than implied. There is no system in place on the Democratic side to allow for seating delegates that have been punitively removed. What we've been watching in FL and MI is an attempt to make it up as they go along.

What just happened in MO was a bunch of Ron Paul people working within the system to claim a greater share of what they consider their due. I admire their pluck.

Please Ron consider running with Hillary. I know it sound weird but you two could do so much.

Getting rid of the Federal Reserve would be a challenge in it's self for you.

Let her deal with the war, budget and healthcare.

A McCain presidency would be no different than Bush. Since when does Bush care about anyone other than major corporations?

I take it the second "nut" would be YOU?

Ron Paul is one of only three truly principled men to run in 2008 (the other two are Mike Gravel and Dennis Kucinich). Paul just needs a better party...he's too noble for the Republicans.

"Paul just needs a better party...he's too noble for the Republicans."

This is a very interesting statement.
Completely at odds with what wRong Paul himself has to say.
Have you noticed that he still has an (R) next to his name regardless of how much they shit on him?

What else would you expect from that crazy war-hungry McCain and his two pals, Lieberman and Hagee? A hug for Paul? Paul is for the unconditional withdrawal of our troops from Iraq (and elsewhere), McCain is for a total 100-year war all over the world. Paul knows his economics and predicted the downturn. McCain knows nothing about economics except how to suck up money from neoconned Republicans. If the Republican Party thinks that it will get the vote of this registered Republican they are dead wrong.

First of all, your comment is grammatically incorrect (it's "who" not "that") and second of all, what's your point?
