Efforts by commentors on this article to link State Dept. ex-employee Maura Harty to the improper accessing of Barack Obama's file solely because she was in charge of Consular Affairs and had worked for the State Dept. during the administration of Bill Clinton, among others, is an example of how delusional some Obamites are. I imagine that if it could be shown that she had ever met Hillary Clinton that would seal the deal, proving she was a mole for Hillary. This juvenile line of "reasoning" is why Obama fanatics on this site have so little credibility with ordinary sane people.

The only reason this came to light is that the State Department was tipped off by a reporter. How did a reporter come into this knowledge? These questions are very important to this investigation and we should not forget this. Was someone trying to peddle info? Or, did an internal whistle blower act and tell the reporter?

Until all of the questions are answered, we will not know with whom or where the responsibilities lie. But this could get interesting.

This site sounds more and more like Faux news everyday. It's the Clinton's fault, it's always the Clinton's fault. Guess what Hillarys records were looked at too. So why does it matter about the woman in charge at the state department worked in Bill Clintons administration. If there is something sinister in looking at Obamas records then there is something equally sinister in looking at McCain and Hillarys records as well. First, we have the Huffpo Obamanians outright accusing the Hillary camp of being responsible for the passport security breach of Barack Obama's records, "because the Clintons are evil and do things like this". Now that we learn Hillary's information was also breached, the Plan B explanation is one of two equally-lame explanations: 1) well, with Hillary it was just a trainee breaching her records, or, 2) Hillary would plan to breach her own records to make herself look innocent. What the rabid-Hillary haters can't admit is: THEY WERE WRONG. This is not some Hillary Clinton-or­chestrated breach of security. But keep drinking your own Kool-Aid, kids.

If it is being suggested that the Clinton folks had something to do with this breach, why would her passport files be in the mix ? Really?! Conspiracy theories will run rampant. A little time will uncover what happened here, who was at the bottom of the breach and why. Patience is a virtue. Until the facts are made public all is conjecture.

Huffington Post, Arianna Huffington and Barack Obama have all lost their credibility with me. I am a passinonate Democrat- the middle of the road kind- not from the fringe left- and am increasingly finding myself settling for a McCain presidency. What a tragedy- that the fringe left of the Dem party- has sabotaged this primary process with help from Howard Dean to keep the republicans in the WH.

McCormack said the individual who accessed Obama's files also reviewed McCain's file earlier this year. This contract employee has been reprimanded, but not fired.

In Clinton's case, an individual last summer accessed her file as part of a training session involving another State Department worker. McCormack said the one-time violation was immediately recognized and the person was admonished.

Bush obviously trying to help out hilary here, she is after all Bush-Lite, though what with her recent antics and financial mis management of her campaign I am inclined to believe she has the potential to turn out worse than Bush. Ain't that something else now?
