Hillary Clinton's 1996 trip to Bosnia is at the center of a dispute over her statements that her plane came under sniper fire. This report by Sharyl Attkisson makes no mention of dangerous conditions.

It's kind of funny hearing all the people criticize HuffPo for being an all- Obama sight. If you go over to Taylor Marsh's blog, the whole thing is 100% Obama bashing and Clinton apologist. At least on HuffPo alternative ideas are posted and dissent is welcome. Don't get me wrong, there are jerks on both sides, but at least there is more than one side tolerated.

Hillary is on video in a recent speech describing her harrowing trip, the sniper fire, the cancellation of the welcoming ceremony, and running for cover with heads down. Why isn't it being run 24-7 on the networks with the video of her smiling and receiving flowers from the little gril AT THE WELCOMING CEREMONY? The Washington Post fact checker called rated this on four Pinnochios = a Whopper.

I spoke to my mother on the phone this morning. She considers herself to be fairly "news savy," reads the paper in the morning, watches the evening news every day. She's heard not one word of this story. She also didn't see Obama's "Perfect Union" speech. Not a word of it. But those clips that were looped over and over again? She's seen them a gazillion times ...

.....unlike Cheney and Bush, two chickenhawks that sent brave young warriors to their deaths for no reason. Many of the dead have found peace that the 40,000 severely wounded Americans will never know. How quickly we forget the millions of Iraqi lives destroyed by these chickenhawks, by death, dismemberment, torture and forced dislocation.
