Lou Dobbs Mocked In Commercial For Hispanic Film "Under The Same Moon"

Progressives should absolutely mock racists like Lou Dobbs, until racism becomes a relic of a horrible past...

well I consider myself liberal and think illegal immigration is appalling. My home town in PA now has 30% illegals and social services are stressed out. I don't understand how one ethnic group can consistently encourage this; you don't see Irish-Americans covering up & encouraging illegal immigration for the Irish etc. Did this all start-up bigtime as a result of the idiotic Republican policy of allowing any Cuban that touches shore here to be "immigrants?" If so -- yet more "blowback" from the Repukes!

OBVIOUSLT LOU DOBBS is getting the attention of the ilegal law breakers. Perhaps prison time will also get their attention. Prison time for their employers may also help.

Being agains illegal immigration doesn't make you anti immigration. It just makes you against the flood of illegal aliens pouring into our country illegaly.
One interesting thing is those that are for open borders and unrestricted immigration only want it for Mexicans. The don't want unlimited Blacks, Eastern Europeans or Asians coming into America. Somehow it's different though when it's Mexicans. That's not at all racist though,

...and where did it set box office records? I've never heard of it or seen any ads for it and I live near about 4 or 5 movie theaters in a Hispanic dominated region. What are they calling "record numbers?" How many tickets sold?

Doesn't surprise me. Hispanics have a bad habit of mocking Native born Americans a lot....and sooner or later it's going to catch up with them in a bad way. It has already turned public sentiment against them. Try to be grateful for what you are given by the Country that gave you sanctuary and all the benefits you enjoy as a result.

Since Lou Dobb's wife is Mexican and his children are half Mexican, I find his attitude towards immigrants very confusing.

This evening on CBS's "60 Minutes" Lesley Stahl interviewed the CNN anti-Mexican xenophobe Lou Dobbs. At one point in the interview Ms. Stahl commented, ". . . given the tone of his show, there's something even more surprising, something he never brings up: the fact that his wife Debi is Mexican-American."

This is quite a shock to many Mexican immigrants who have learned to dislike Dobbs because of his constant hate-mongering against what he calls criminal illegal aliens. He recently insinuated that America has the capability of rounding up all undocumented Mexicans and deporting them. Dobbs has become the "hero" of anti-Mexican xenophobes around the country.

Lou Dobbs has twin daughters with Debi whose maiden name is Segura. Mexican blood runs in the veins of his daughters, Hillary and Heather, yet he never mentions this on his anti-immigration CNN shows.

Wow. Let's see Dobbs go after this little boy, and call him out for a street fight.

Dobbs is a demagogic, smug swine, and the more abuse and humiliation he gets in public, the better for America and the rest of the world. This movie's on my must-see list!

I have said this before - Lou Dobbs is an opportunist. Mr. Dobbs is not a racist. He is a man who saw an opportunity to ncrease ratings and his own personal wealth by bashing illegal immigrants. He has pandered to the "mental midgets" who fear the color brown in their neighborhoods. Illegal immigration is a problem. That has been the truth for over 30 years. We should have the right to control our borders and have knowledge of who is entering. Make no mistake Lou Dobbs is no savior on the illegal immigration issue.

I saw the trailer in a cinema in Canada a couple of weeks ago. Did you catch that the distributer is FOX?

Dobbs is only bashing one side...... the illegals. He should be lobbying to stop the employers that illegally hire these people...but the emphasis isn't on them. No ...a segment of Americans use these people for their cheap labor. Another doublestandard. If these people couldn't find a job here .....they wouldn't be coming.

I can't stand Lou Dobbs.

btw, if you actually listen to Dobbs, or read his articles you should notice that the focus of criticisms are not with immigrants - its with the federal government, which has come to serve corporate interests and ultimately neither the citizens nor illegal immigrants.

You know what is sadder? How about hospitals closing? What about US citizens who can't get a good education because the teachers are too busy with the children who don't speak English? What about the BILLIONS of dollars spent on people who don't even belong here? Who is crying for us? ILLEGAL ALIENS are sucking our systems dry. We need to use the money we shell out on the education and health care for ILLEGAL ALIENS on our own poor. Who is crying for them?

Uh, how many people here calling it propaganda have actually seen the film? Yeah. Exactly.

Yeah...Mexico has their own little propaganda factory...sad piece of business, US/Mexico relations over the years, it could be easily fixed by coming up with an ironclad border treaty with Mexico, reinforce La Linea with common agreement on both sides of it to mutually maintain it, instead there's all these greasy labor things, and trade deals, and and and, and the only way to help Mexico get up on their own 2 feet is probably just to CLOSE the border completely for about a year, then send help south, should they end up needing it.

The biggest problem Mexico has is that they need better infrastructure. But, Mexico has their very own concrete company, their own oil company, even, and they've got engineers and designers and technicians and many hands to make light work, buuuuut...somewhere in there, the old spark of independence just hasn't quite jumped, yet, I've met some great people from Mexico and other spanish-speaking countries, but 'border' is a word that needs to be illustrated in plain english, I think.

Too many stupid people in America and not enough educated/qualified applicants to work in high tech industry.
