Joe Lieberman Likens John McCain To JFK

Sen. Joseph Lieberman, I-Connecticut, compared presumptive Republican nominee John McCain to a surprising figure on Sunday -- Democratic icon John F. Kennedy.

"I'm a Democrat who came to the party in the era of President John F. Kennedy," Lieberman told George Stephanopoulos on ABC's "This Week. "It's a strange turn of the road when I find among the candidates running this year that the one, in my opinion, closest to the Kennedy legacy, the John F. Kennedy legacy, is John S. McCain."

Obama supported Lieberman, rather than the rightfully elected (Conneticut primary) nominee Ned Lamont. Obama supported Lieberman because "Holy Joe" is a mentor of Obama. Lieberman and McCain are itching/wanting for BOMBBARMENT of IRAN. Obama is Lieberman "Lite".

truly unfortunate that obama supported lieberman over lamont, but lieberman is supporting mccain, so hopefully obama learned a bitter lesson. i agree that mccain will go into iran first chance he gets. Ugh!

As a Likud Senator, Lieberman probably cannot tell the difference between a Catholic and a Presbyterian. But aside from the fact that they would be the same age if Kennedy were still alive, and that they both have the same first name, there is very little resemblance. You see, John Kennedy cared about the little guy, and John McSame only cares about what his lobbyists tell him to care about.

Ahhhhh no, Kennedy had vision had great plans for the country McSame has nothing other then to continue sending billions of dollars to Iraq for nothing, If McSame were like Kennedy he would have a plan for Iraq and the Economy.
