Kevin Spacey Hits Out At "Unfair" BBC Show

Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey has hit out at the BBC's popular talent contests which look for stars for upcoming musicals as unfairly promoting musicals over theatre in London's West End.

Shows such as "How do you solve a problem like Maria?" in which 10 contestants battled it out for a lead role in Andrew Lloyd Webber's production of The Sound of Music, have proved hugely successful with the public who were able to vote for their favourite candidate.

A second show called "Any dream will do" saw the public chose the frontman for Lloyd Webber's production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
