Chelse Clinton Magic Eight Ball

236.com:

At a college appearance yesterday, Chelsea Clinton was asked for the second time in a week to comment on the Monica Lewinsky scandal. It's starting to look like people show up at these appearances just to try and get Chelsea Clinton to give them "the business."

Who is handling this? Can she refule to answer? Sure. Can students emerging into their political strength ask embarassing questions to someone who puts themselves in this position? Sure.

But, what kind of a parent would put their child in this position knowing what will happen?

To Mr. War & Miss Truth.

Get up and ask the president or anyone (male) about blow jobs received or given.

Lets vest them all. I am sure old John had a few blow jobs between wives.
How about GW you think when he was drinking and tooting he didn't get a
little on the side. His own father had a girlfriend. Everyone has a sex history.

I am not responsible for what or who my parent do or do not.

It is because the Clintons want it both ways....they want to be able to send out their daughter to peddle their BS and then cry foul when people ask her questions they don't like. It isn't "fair" per se for Chelsea to have to answer for the Lewinsky scandal, but it is if she is going to be out there selling her mother and her policies as well as criticizing Bush. So I think she should be asked these questions at every opportunity until she either answers them or quits he PR job.
And it is our business despite what she says..her father brought the situation on us and himself. Parents all around the country had to respond to little children's questions on what a blowjob was. Is that a good thing? And then we had to watch a sitting president lie under oath where he is supposed to be an example. So now the wife of that same president wants us to vote for her and forget that this ever happened even though she condoned and supported it by her inaction. And they have the audacity to send their daughter out there to sell it!

It is difficult for anyone to explain "betrayl of public trust".............so if you are going to campaign for those who betrayed the American people, at least have a good answer......whether it is the truth or misinformation.

If they put their daughter out there to spread the Clinton line (i.e., lie) and slander Obama, then they have to be prepared for her to get some tough and embarrassing questions. She doesn't get to say whatever she wants, unchallenged, and claim foul if someone doesn't follow her rules.

So what burning questions does the media want to ask in order that the people's right to know may be satisfied? Do they want to ask if Chelsea was okay with being put through the embarrassment of hearing the details of her dad's adulterous sex life on the evening news when she was a teenager? Would they demand to know if she would have minded having Monica as her new mommy?

I mean what, exactly, does anyone expect Chelsea to say about any of this? She wasn't involved, it's reasonable to assume that she devoutly wishes it had never happened, and that she would much rather ignore it than to be questioned about a situation for which she has no answers.

If they must ask their prurient questions about something that happened 10 years ago, let them ask Bill, Monica, or Hillary and leave Chelsea out of it. Frankly, I can't imagine that there is anything left to say about the whole sorry affair; it was extremely well-covered at the time, right down to details about the presidential penis.

Good question. People are curious and if a person, even Chelsea, puts themselves on a stage and says to ask questions then they shouldn't be surprised. But, I wondered why Chelsea didn't just say that it was a difficult time for their family and the country and she thought her mother handled it very well. Enough said. To suggest that it is a "family matter" alone isn't supported by the facts. Being evasive or aggressive is just red meat to the media.

Do we really know in which the context of the question was asked? Chelsea doesn't give interviews to the media, why? She is an adult isn't she? Chelsea claimed that her mother would be a better President than her father was, why would she be a better President? Better judgment, policies, or the fact that her mother a woman wouldn't have the negative behaviors her father a man had which would lead to a bi partisan government?

Oh, for God's sake. Let it go. It is nobody's business what Chelsea thought or felt during that time. It is nobody's business to ask her opinion of something that happened during that time. Grow up. She just needs to keep telling people that it's none of their business. No elaboration. Pretty soon they will realize that there is no reaction forthcoming, and the questions will stop.

Ignoring. It's what we do when toddlers are behaving badly. The same thing should apply to a room full of college students.
