Barack Obama has already done what the Clinton camp wanted to do.

Mr. Obama has won the nomination... by winning the pledge delegates in the early primarys

The Clintons.. and there are three of them running for the White House... cannot win.

unless..they go to court... and do something that will offend most Democrats.

Christine Pelosi already said.... quote:

"Many of us.{SuperDelegates}..are elected by the grassroots of the party.., and I cannot imagine going home in November and try to phone bank for someone who did not win the {pledged delegate}..vote.., ; we were all galvanized by what happened to Al Gore in Florida."

Mr. Obama and his campaign, which includes people like me, did the hard work...the long hours , the hard walk...
and... we got what we were working for..
we got our candidate..Barack Obama nominated..

Now if someone could just bridge the gap between Hillary Clinton's campaign and the reality that Barack Obama has been and remains the clear front-runner and the Democratic party's best hope for beating John McSame in November, we could end this senseless bloodletting and get into the real race for the presidency. McCain is riding comfortably toward victory on the backs of lobbyists and corrupt neo-cons eagerly anticipating four more years of draining our national treasury as our sons and daughters continue marching into the Haliburton human meat grinder Bush created in Iraq and no one is doing a damn thing to stop it because they are all too busy watching this nonsensical soap opera.

Special thanks to CNN, Fox News, especially Hannity, Joe Scarborough, Pat Buchanan, Laura Ingraham, Flush Limbaugh, and the gang for running the Rev. Wright story totally in the ground. Now that the whole Wright issue has been settled, all superdelegates can now come to Obama's side without fear that the Wright ordeal will be an issue in the GE. When the GOP brings it up in the general....it will be old news. THANKS MEDIA ! (can you say.....back-fired!)

FIRED UP....READY TO GO !!!!!!!!!!

Polls don't mean a thing when a charismatic man like Obama is leading the pack

It may be yesterday's news, and something that we Democrats simply don't want to face right now, but past is prologue and Obama's two different takes on the Wright controversy will certainly come back to haunt him (to the detriment of the Democratic Party) in the general election. It goes to credibility and character on a hot-button issue.

This video is of Obama giving two very different answers to one very important question:

Where are you from? We have already crossed that hurdle. We are playing out the general now. The only people who will be discussing the Wright situation will be you, rush limbaugh, et al and Fox.

Anyone who does even a tiny bit of research knows this Wright fiasco has only just begun. There is so much more to the whole drama. This is very much on the minds of thinking and serious Americans, and there will be many more details surrounding Sen. O that will be coming soon.

Give me a break! This is so insignificant it's laughable. Here check this out, an explanation from Wikepedia concerning the Paula Jones mess and some pretty hairy substantiated facts about Bill and Hillary. I wonder why she didn't leave him like she said she would have left Wright.

From Wikipedia:
"In March 2005, Paula Jones appeared on the debut show of Lie Detector on Pax TV, produced by Mark Phillips Philms & Telephision, and was given a polygraph exam. She was asked if then Governor Bill Clinton had—in a hotel room in 1991—dropped his pants, exposed himself, and asked for sexual favors from her. Jones said yes and the polygraph operator determined she was telling the truth. Lie Detector offered to test Clinton, but he did not respond to the request."

And then you can look up the Peter Pauls trial and then take a gander at "Filegate"; "Travelgate" the "Vince Foster Suicide" not to mention the granddaddy of them all, the Impeachment of Bill Clinton.

I wonder just what the RNC might have in store for Hillary if she's the candidate. I guess in the general election people might bring these things up on issues of credibility and character and might consider some of these "hot button issues".

People need to get a life and realize that if Rev. Wright is the best they got against Obama, the Republicans are in big big trouble. The list of scandals with"Our Friend McBush" it's just as juicy.

You can't be serious. I'm a Hillary supporter but this attempt to make selective edits and string them together to prove a point about Obama's character is ridiculous. It's not even professionally done or well thought out. Whatever Barack Obama's failings, good character is not one them. I've been really impressed with him these past few days and will now feel better about supporting him in the general election should he be the nominee. Enjoy watching Obama and Hillary go at it now but after the convention we can turn our attention to the Republicans and proving what dismal failures they have been will be almost too easy.

So, using averages at realclearpolitics.com, Obama would take a net of around 19 delegates out of NC, and Clinton would take a net of around 12 out of PA.

The New Republic's Jonathan Chait does the math: "Does Clinton have a chance to become president? Sure. So does Ralph Nader. Clinton's chances are far closer to Nader's than to either Obama's or John McCain's."

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 05:08 PM on 04/07/2008

Bull!! Nader has no chance, never did, never will. Obama has no chance against McCain, unless McCain drops dead. Clinton can beat McCain--pay attention to the reality of the College of Electors, and which Democrat can carry the States with large electoral votes. McCain can't win against Clinton, for the same reason. But the superdelegates, demonstrating the general lack of intelligence displayed by the DNC and Party leaders (who have given us this brilliantly constructed nomination process), will likely ensure a Democrat disaster in November by nominating Obama.

Oh but you do not give her enough time. Eight years as a Senator is not long enough. NOW, she apparently fighting for more breast cancer research. She has stated that the cost of mammograms need to be reduced. LOL. I have no idea of what the current costs are, but if they follow recent trends in health care, they are probably way up there .. Reduced by what, Hillary? Five dollars?

Actually most communities offer free mammograms. What could be less than "free". Certainly doesn't hurt the insurance industry.

OBAMA 08

In spite of all of this www.politicalamnesia.blogspot.com she has worked to create the SCHIP program. Voted against censuring moveon.org - How did Obama vote on that....oh yeah, that's right he left the building and didn't vote. How many times has Obama gone on record with the LGBT community? Oh yeah, that's right...he and McCain 'declined'. Which candidate was it that refused to have his picture taken with Gavin Newsome? Was that Hillary or Obama? Who was the Democratic candidate that stumped around SC with formerly gay- recovered gay, de-programming gays, Rev. McClurkin?

She actually had very little to do with the SCHIP program. Jumped on board late.

She voted for the Iraq war, for a possible Iran War, against the middle class and for the banks with the bankruptcy bill, against free speech when she voted to ban flag burning (even the Supreme Court disagreed with her on that one).

What has she done? NOTHING OF VALUE FOR THE AMERICAN WORKER!

the S-CHIP was actually the work of Orin Hatch and Ted Kennedy. and like others who have all of a sudden seen Hilary's fingerprints show up on their hard work... they weren't too happy to find out that Hilary claimed ANY credit for that program. As a matter of fact, Bill Clinton did everything he could to kill the bill.

so... help us know more about Hilary and her 35 years. maybe we just don't know... all that she has done for the American people.

What is it that she has done? name ONE thing.. that SHE did?

So the bipartisan legislation to secure loose nuclear materials in former parts of the Soviet Union which Senator Obama in cooperation with Senator Lugar - a program which is already under way, working quietly behind the scenes to deprive third-world dictators and potential terrorists of the means to threaten our nation's security - that doesn't count as an accomplishment? I can understand why you might not be aware of if since it has only been reported by serious, unbiased journalists. It may not be as interesting as the latest proclamations by Reverend Wright, but I believe it speaks more to the character and qualifications of Senator Obama. And while it is true that Hillary Clinton lays claim to creating SCHIP, the reality is that it was put together through the hard work and cooperation of other Senators and Senator Clinton merely had the foresight to recognize a good piece of legislation and lend her support. Well, I guess George W. Bush has proven that any idiot capable of signing his name to whatever is put before him can serve as president, so perhaps Hillary is qualified for the job after all.
