An alarming number of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton supporters are telling pollsters they won't support the Democratic ticket if their candidate doesn't win the party's nomination. This, my friends, could mean four more years of Bushist backwardness.

Look before you jump. Democrats thinking of voting for John McCain should ask themselves if they want a hot-tempered, right-wing Republican in the White House - keeping his foot on the gas in Iraq, sentencing women to illegal abortions, and pouring cement around President Bush's tax cuts for the rich.

The trouble with polls is that they only reach people with landlines. I have many friends who depend on their cell phones only. When I hear people say they will vote for McCain if their nominee Hillary or Obama is not the candidate I think it is a knee jerk reaction on their part. I mean really, a vote for McCain is a vote for 4 more years of bush. Besides do they really want more bush economics? Look out how well it's going these days! Stupid threats that won't be followed up with a vote for McCain. And besides he is SO OLD!

There is no such thing as a McCain Dem. If you vote McCain you are a RepubliCON. RepubliCons destroy Freedom and Prosperity for most Americans while giving more Freedom and Prosperity to the very rich.
A democrat in the White House is important because it will make it easier for the Democratic Congress to pass Progressive bills. There will be no veto threat.
It is also important because a Democrat will pick judges who support Freedom and the Constitution ,unlike Bush has done.
Anyone who dislikes Bush, Cheney and war will vote Democrat this November.
If you don't support Freedom and Prosperity, the Rule of Law and the Constitution then vote for McCain and have more of the same.
A vote for McCain is like voting for Bush again

Mcain is not Bush. I will take my chances with him instead of Obama. It's not about me loving Hillary it's about me not been able to stand Obama. I know his type and that scares me. People who are born here are hypnotized by the way he speaks. I am not easily hypnotized by BS so I can see through it just fine. I was born as born and spend a good part of my life in a country where every politician talks like Obama so to me his "oratory skills" is just the way preacher preach at churches and politician who are full of it try to make you forget they don't got the stuff. Really Americans need to get out more.

If I have to vote for McCain in November I will able to sleep just fine with my choice. It won't bother me one bit. If Obama is comfortable getting Republicans to vote for him then I'm sure McCain will welcome some democrats as well. It's only fair.

That would make you a big 'R' Republican, then.

That's OK, it's a free country, you are free to vote for whomever you wish. But at least be honest with yourself and everyone else about it.

What is with these people?
So, they don't like the Democratic party's candidate.
This means they have to vote for McCrazy?
Couldn't they just *not* vote?

People are just not being truthful. I was tempted to be one of those in a survey even though in my heart I knew I would never vote for McCain. I choose not to muddy the poll and choose Clinton over McCain.

I think there is a lot of untruths in the poll/surveys.

This disgusting candidate had an affair with his then mistress who was young enough to be his daughter in her mid 20s while his wife was dying of cancer. What a creep. The father-in-law made his fortune through peddling cheap beer to the misfortunate in America who couldn't afford the good stuff.

Be careful with the truth. They'll accuse you of being like Rev. Wright.

A good list of reasons not to vote McSame. There are plenty more, including his lack of any grasp on reality, which is only likely to get worse.....
