Renee Zellweger's Ullman Revulsion: Tracey's Impression A Reason To Call Shrink

Renee Zellweger went on Letterman Thursday night to promote "Leatherheads" when the subject of Tracey Ullman's spot-on impression of Zellweger (on her show "State of the Union") came up. Ullman has said of doing her impression of Renee, "I just put these eyelashes on and tried to think of Lamb Chop from Shari Lewis."

Renee pointed at a picture of Tracey in costume and said of it, "My reason for calling a therapist for the next six months... the reason I'm growing my hair out. Every time I look in the mirror I see Tracey Ullman." She then joked that if she had a twin brother who dressed in drag, that is what he'd look like.

The "Tracy Ullman Show" was BRILLIANT, and the brightest of bright spots during the Reagan-Bush I teevee era (along with the first two seasons of "Murphy Brown"). They just don't make 'em like that anymore. TRACY RULES!

(Our theatre schools have always taught us to speak Brit - mainly for doing Shakespeare and Shaw - but theirs never returned the favor.)

Oh my goodness. That picture of her from when she was 18 is something else. She used to be so gorgeous.. No wonder why she's seeing a shrink. She must be tormented over how much she has damaged her looks with surgery or chemical treatments. She did alot more than Botox. She also looks like she doesn't eat.

I'm not jealous of successfull women. I just dont' like it when they portray themselves as something their not. They're the ones who don't like themeselves w/ all the changes to their bodies and appearances.

Wow. I actually read the comments below *before* watching the clip. The 1'10 clip. I was expecting to see a drunk or stoned Renee, based on the wise and insightful comments of some of these HuffPo commenters.

I actually watched the show last night and Renee was high! Her segment in entirety made it obvious. Usually she doesn't use a heavy Texan drawl in interviews, but she was so gone that it kept slipping out.
