Lewis Black Mocks Media, Celeb Endorsements

Lewis Black chronicled media reports of celebrity endorsements on "The Daily Show" last night, presenting a montage of celebrities explaining who they're voting for.

"How can I vote with Clooney if it means going against Stallone?" Black joked.

The highlight of the segment comes at the very end, where Black rips Oprah's endorsement of Barack Obama, saying, "Good for you, Barack! You have Oprah excited, and you know she doesn't get that worked up over just anything" before cutting to footage of Oprah screaming over everything from a season premiere to a car giveaway to "Desperate Housewives."

Which is silliest? Oprah for Obama? Elton for Hillary? Chuck Norris for Mc Cain? C'mon people, it's just for TV value which isn't much to begin with. If people think celebrity endorsement for candidates work like Tiger Wood sells Buicks, we're in deeper trouble than first thought.

ha ha. yeah, its so funny that the hound dog jack nicholson is shilling for clinton. oh wait, this was an attack piece on obama by black. that's why there was no mention of nicholson, the biggest star in the world, in his celebrity endorsement bit.
