NEW YORK — The secret talents of celebrities will remain hidden. CBS is axing its new reality show "Secret Talents of the Stars" after only one episode.

The first airing Wednesday had former "Star Trek" actor George Takei singing "On the Road Again." Only 4.6 million people tuned in _ and thousands tuned away as the hour continued.

The reality show also had Clint Black doing standup comedy and Mya tap-dancing. Danny Bonaduce is among the celebrities whose secret talents will be kept to himself.

CBS officials say news programming is expected as a temporary replacement.

Might I suggest as replacements: Menus of the Stars, Laundry of the Stars, Lawns of the Stars, Garages of the Stars . . . .

The problem with actors, is, when their 15 minutes of fame is up, they can't just fade away gracefully, but must subject us to this tripe, over and over.

WHAT!!?? I'm not going to be able to see washed out stars showing me something that didn't make them famous!?!?!?!? I'll grant that Clint Black is a good singer, but other than him.....

I saw Clint doing "comedy" for about 20 seconds and almost got sick before I changed the channel.
The money they spent on this mess could've helped some homeless people.

The creators and producers of this show as well as the head of the "entertainment" should be forced to switch places with the homeless for putting such a waste of time together. If not that, they should just be banned from television for life.
