HuckPAC Launches: Huckabee's Countdown Clock Fails To Launch

Well, today was the day that literally tens of people took to the interwebs to see what astounding revelation lay waiting at the end of Mike Huckabee's weeklong countdown clock. Was the Rapture imminent? Would Mike Huckabee be birthing the Fair Tax Savior? Launching a third party campaign based around late-night comedy japery and a commitment to find the Lindbergh baby? The clock counted down to zero, and then...uhm, started back up again, only this time counting down in negative time, bringing fear to all Donnie Darko loving Wikipedians.

Happily, after several minutes of awkward failure, the site finally switched, and we can now reveal that this whole annoying prelude was just building to the announcement of the birth of another run-of-the-mill PAC-slash-blog. Huckabee offers many exciting ways to get involved in his venture, like signing up for email updates! And adding your blog to his blogroll! And friending him on Facebook! But mostly, send $25, make checks payable to "Huck PAC." Or, in keeping with the cutting-edge mathematics Huckabee has long espoused, send $20 and say you sent $25! Or, do as I am going to do: send him nothing at all, and then quietly put this disappointing chapter of your life behind you.
