LAS VEGAS -- No matter who wins the White House in November, the next administration is likely to be a lot more open to media scrutiny than the current one, said Sam Donaldson, the ABC News correspondent, in a panel discussion at the National Association of Broadcasters' convention on Tuesday.
"It's gotta be better" than the Bush administration, Mr. Donaldson said. "How could it be worse? This present administration has shut down access to information in the White House... and has told the federal government not to obey the law -- which is no surprise for this administration."
"Forgive me for being so acerbic," he added.
