This morning on "Fox & Friends," Geraldo Rivera made a joke about bodybuilder-turned actor-turned Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who F&F co-host Brian Kilmeade recently interviewed. Kilmeade boasted that he was actually stronger than Schwarzenegger, prompting Geraldo to ask, "Cause he's off steroids?" Someone let out a "Whoa!" and the newsroom fell into an awkward silence.

First rule: NEVER LEAVE THE PLAYBOOK!!!

That was the awkward silence of people in abject fear. Watch any old Nazi movie and the same silence appears when someone misspeaks and everyone checks themselves to see if they are gonna go down with the dead man walking. The only thing missing were the close-ups with sweat running down faces.

But look at Kilmeade's face-- humorless, forced into a blank state that says... "Hey look, I'm not with him. I'm part of the program! Don't send me away too!"

The all had: Guilt By Association Terror.

Arnold started using steroids in Montreal, which was where he trained when he first came to North America, and I know this for a fact because I know the guy who worked for Bernie Cornfeld who purchased them for him. Cornfeld did this because Arnold was the partyboy at his parties for NY bigwigs who flew up for them.

All bodybuilders use roids, whats the big deal.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 06:19 PM on 04/18/2008

Well it is a big deal when he was also a member of the President's Commitee on Physical Fitness under Reagan. The only pre-gubernatorial political experience he had. Juicing is a reality but parading around like youre the paragon of a healthy athletic lifestyle just to get your foot in the door of politics is this side of hypocritical.

But then again, it's a bit like Elvis Presley getting appointed an anti-drug post under Nixon. It kinda shows you how out of touch with reality most Republican presidents tend to be.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 11:49 PM on 04/18/2008

The dumb assumption that you make is that being hypocritical or out of touch is uniquely republican.

From the clips I've seen, the only people dumber than the tools on Fox & Friends must be the people who tune in.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 04:11 PM on 04/18/2008

It's not a joke. Anybody in the bodybuilding community around when Arnold was big knows he was juicing. The truth hurts the left as usual!!

Not a fan of Geraldo but he is out of place on Fox News. Doesn't he know that?

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 02:46 PM on 04/18/2008

""Cause he's off steroids?" Someone let out a "Whoa!" and the newsroom fell into an awkward silence."

And if the 'he' had been BHO they would have let out whoops of laughter. Even though it doesn't make any damn sense whatsoever. Pigs in suits.

2bh - Someone spoke the truth on Fox News and it took all of their breaths away....that is the big deal. I bet Geraldo got his butt handed to him after that slip of the truth. How dare he!

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 06:07 PM on 04/18/2008

Geraldo broke the cardinal rule: Republicans do not speak ill of republicans. Fox news is undeniably the most bias name in news and is a branch of the republican party. It is wrong to speak ill of republicans on fox news. I think you can hear them sniker and laugh to themselves whenever they say "Fair and Balanced". It is just like a conservative can not use the phrase "compasionate conservative" without breakin g out a stupid ear to ear grin.

Support your country, flush the GOP!

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 01:27 PM on 04/18/2008

I'm not sure what's funnier, the fact that these guys find that offensive or that Geraldo is actually making sense these days.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 01:27 PM on 04/18/2008

Fletch? Is that you?

When these Faux News people hear something negative about their Republican counterparts that they don't like, they immediately freeze up. Where have I seen that behavior before??? I know, during a recent interview with the women from the FLDS compount (sorry ranch). FLDS "Ranch" = Cult & Fox News Staff = Cult.

I raise you another one with Sean Hannity where he was questioned about Hal Turner. Yeah, the American white nationalist, white supremacist, and Internet radio talk show host from North Bergen, New Jersey. Sean was like a dear in carlights.

It is the height of entertainment to watch these FOX rats stumble and turn on each other on a daily basis.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 12:39 PM on 04/18/2008

Kilmeade Doocy and Alysin (i think) reveal their own ignorance and bias. Geraldo is simply more informed about history and the facts than they are.

Their reaction is due to present-day antipathy toward doping. What a bunch of ignorant turds!

Not only has Ah-nold admitted using steroids in 1967, he has given credit for his physique to said enhancing chemicals. They helped him develop his muscularity and definition. He ADMITS it! But these douchebags (because he is Republican) are appaled that Geraldo (who is factually accurate, even if his remark is snide) would DARE desparage the "Governator."

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 12:17 PM on 04/18/2008

Has Arnold EVER denied using steroids when he was a pro-bodybuilder and a 7 time Mr. Olympia champion? He even wrote about using them in 1967, primarily to preserve muscle while dieting.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 12:10 PM on 04/18/2008

Arnold now says he only used them occasionally, like when he was injured. Others say he used them occasionally, on occasions like morning, noon and night.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 04:50 PM on 04/18/2008

I don't see what the big deal is. It's not like Arnold has EVER denied using steroids back before they got officially listed as a scheduled narcotic.

If Imus can call Obama a pussy (even though Obama could probably stuff him into his own hat), then Geraldo can make a joke about Arnold having taken steroids.
