Tony Snow is joining CNN as a conservative commentator, the network announced today. Snow, who spent 10 years at Fox News, left his job as White House Press Secretary in September, saying he needed to make more money to support his family.

"In the White House, Tony brought a remarkably human touch to the discussion of public policy, which he will continue to do as part of the Best Political Team on Television," CNN/US President Jon Klein said. "He will contribute a unique breadth of political and journalistic expertise to what is already the most provocative and wide-ranging political analysis on the air."

"I'm delighted to be able to join CNN during the most exciting and unpredictable political year in memory," Snow said. "The big challenge in 2008 is to develop deep, creative and aggressive analysis of both political parties, their candidates and campaigns. I'm eager to get started, since this race is sure to shape American politics for years to come."

Update: The Politico's Michael Calderone spoke wtih Snow, who assured him that he still loves his old friends at Fox News:

"Make no mistake, I love the folks at Fox," Snow told [Calderone] this afternoon, by phone from Spokane, Washington.

"Everybody is going to try and create a Fox and CNN narrative out of this," said Snow, who also mentioned that he "love[s]" Fox News chief Roger Ailes and would "walk over broken glass" for Bill O'Reilly.

Gee CNN, from the comments here, I think you'll find that George's Boy is ratings poison. Good job on becoming even less news and more propaganda, you hacks.

Pundits, even the retired generals, are bought and paid for by the White House. What possible difference could it make if Tony Snow were a pundit for a horrible outfit like CNN or any other fake news org. Shame on anyone who watches.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 09:17 PM on 04/22/2008

I'm sure it was his second choice, but Satan already has a spokesperson - Dick Cheney.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 09:09 PM on 04/22/2008

has cnn ever heard the name "tony snowjob", obviously not.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 07:40 PM on 04/22/2008

What's new? The USA has been getting a snowjob ever since Ronald Reagan or even Nixon...
The Neo Con owned News Media Conglomerates need to be broken up into little companies like they did to Ma Bell in the 70's for interfering with politics!

What a Joke. Another objective commentator.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 05:38 PM on 04/22/2008

Hilarious! Dims lapped up every word that fell from George Clintonopolous's lips until he turned on the Obajebus.

Now they cry foul over Snow being hired?

You can't make this stuff up.

The party that screeched "every vote must count; count every vote" has just disenfranchised TWO STATES

and now:

CONGRESSIONAL INVESTIGATION.; MEETING OF THE COMMITTEE TO INQUIRE INTO ALLEGED ELECTION FRAUDS IN NEW-YORK, JERSEY CITY, BROOKLYN AND PHILADELPHIA

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 06:10 PM on 04/22/2008

Nazi.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 03:20 PM on 04/22/2008

There ya go...one more piece of evidence that there's a "liberal media". So CNN has Jack Cafferty to remain fair and balanced?
Anderson Cooper is clueless but for some Katrina moments. Wolf is cconcerned about his taxes going up like ABC's Charles Gibson. Larry King is still in love with Ronald and Nancy Reagan.

CNN's hiring Tony Snow is equal to giving Progressives the "finger".

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 03:18 PM on 04/22/2008

CNN's hiring Tony Snow is equal to giving Progressives the "finger".

NO It is equal to giving America the finger. ANyone not offended by this is to stupid to know better, bu this is bad for America. We need to get this politictal agenda driven BS out of the media completley.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 04:05 PM on 04/22/2008

Tony Snow is a lava lamp with slightly better audio. Can you say, "mute"?

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 03:17 PM on 04/22/2008

Tony is like an infection spreading throughout our society. The well dressed whore who will smooch any ass for enough filthy lucre..

This will be known as the age of the electronic lie.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 03:02 PM on 04/22/2008

I'm finished with CNN... I'll watch some other news station.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 02:51 PM on 04/22/2008

I'm done also. The foxification of CNN progresses. I don't know what other news station isn't controlled by corporrrate America. BBC maybe, I can't think of any US org that can be trusted???

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 06:12 PM on 04/22/2008

CNN is a horrible channel. Wolf is so boring. Dobbs is insane and Anderson is just plain cute as hell but not much substance.

With all of their faults and my complaints, I still like the MSNBC team.

Tony Snow is a liar.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 02:28 PM on 04/22/2008

I agree, Snow is a liar. He is now just one more good reason NOT to watch CNN.

The liar stuff I don't have a problem with. My problem is with the NUMBER of people who believe guys like Snow, or gals like Perino. How in the world do these people sleep? How do they look themsevles in the mirror?

Snow quit the white house because another source is paying him more money for his lies. What else is new with the neocon right?

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 03:08 PM on 04/22/2008

He went to CNN too quickly. He could have been the hack editor to the hack publisher at Newsday.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 02:09 PM on 04/22/2008

Good for CNN, Tony Snow is a remarkable liar, a very well spoken and elegant liar.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 01:27 PM on 04/22/2008

I will never watch CNN again. Do people not understand that Mr. Snows job is to lie. He is a PR rep for the republicans. He will just spin and talk his way around every negative issue. He is already on CNN saying he thinks John Mccain will win, and that people will fall out of love with Obama ( of course he isnt mentioning thats because his fellow republicans will spend every dime they have attacking Obama on issues of little importance or little truth) CNN this is as bad as the NYT hiring Bill Kristal BOOOOO

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 01:23 PM on 04/22/2008

CNN and the current neoconservative government are controlled by the same bosses.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 01:22 PM on 04/22/2008

Tony Snow, Dick Cheney, Dick Morris and too many others. Is it just me, or do all these people LOOK like they are talking out of the corner of their mouths?

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 03:10 PM on 04/22/2008

CNN LOSES MOre credibility with Hiring this FOOL! along with Beck and a few others......Disgusting!

Dang!! Given the poisonous venom that appears regularly on this website, that must have been some post.

Did someone speak approvingly of Pres. Bush?

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 02:51 PM on 04/22/2008

The moderators need to know about issues such as this, of course. "4 rs" should definitely be flagged and banished. The legitimate communication from Kelly "3 rs" should never be confused with the vile bigotry from the keyboard of "4 rs." Hopefully, the moderators will banish this attempt at troll theft of a screen name as effectively as they have eliminated the irritating and recurring spam attempts from that stupid "millionaire" site. Just keep flagging; the moderators catch on pretty fast.
