Chris Matthews Declares The PA Polls Closed Thirty Minutes Early

In the clearest sign yet that tonight is going to be a long night for the media, Chris Matthews got a familiar quiver up his leg and without warning, declared before his viewing audience that it was eight o'clock and the polls in Pennsylvania were closed. The only problem was it was only seven-thirty and there was a big ol' clock right there on the ticker that clearly said that polls would be open for another half hour. None of the professional newsmen in the room said a word, either because they were too dumbfounded to respond or because they just really, really, really, really wanted this primary to be over. Buckle up, people: this is going to be a bumpy ride.

Chris Matthews announcing that polls had closed in Pennsylvania and the numerous pundits on the same MSNBC program might have helped Obama in Pennsylvania. It looks to me like that was the goal, anyway. Working class voters support Hillary, and working class voters have a lot of things to juggle at the end of the day - getting from work to home, picking up their kids from school, feeding their children and themselves, often having to pick up things at the store, and so forth. College kids and affluent liberals (who are skewing the primary vote) have their days pretty much open to go and vote at their leisure. This leading voters to conclude that the polls had closed when they actually hadn't is not likely to have affected those would could vote during the day, namely Obama supporters. Had Fox News done this we would have heard shouts of voter suppression from Democrats. But because it was MSNBC, which is an organ of the Obama campaign, we haven't heard much of anything. Indeed, not that the present story doesn't analyze the moment.

aristocrat fiasco keeps festering the better chance we will have of enslaving Americans not born

I could hardly wait till the morning to wake up and read the blogs at Huffington Post.
The demographic that always makes me laugh is how they keep saying that Obama's
Supporters are better educated. After reading these blogs, I find that hard to believe.
Maybe, Clinton won because she just simply has better solutions to America's problems.
Obama identifies problems, directs blame, but then offers no real solutions.

Why are the media not talking about the Votes being turned away in some areas and machines not working in others plus there has been a law-suit filled. This is what needs to be discussed today . All the top dogs in Penn are close allies of Hillary and there needs to be an investigation into what happened with the Obama votes . This same mess happens every election cycle and something really needs to be done . Every vote needs to be counted and every person that shows up to vote needs to be allowed to do so .

Chris mathews , Shawn Hannity ,and sometimes Anderson Cooper are terrible journalists . They always want to be first getiing out the election #'s and they make mistakes and are never calleed on them or appoligize . The biggest problems with our last several elections are the MEDIA .They are in a position to make or break a canidate if they do not appear on their shows or act or dress they way they think they should . A good example of this is the way they are now portraying OBAMA, Morning Joe on MSNBC is now trying to dictate how Obama should dress . Obama is a suit ad tie man and if he were to put on a plaid shirt as Joe sujested today , he would not be himself . People like Joe Hannity , Mathews ,Hume, Anderson Cooper want Hillary to win so that McCain can trash her out in the General . Hillary is getting help from her enimies now so they can help McCain later and he will be our next president . If Obama is not the nominee because the media has sabotaged the election , the young in our nation and the other Obama fans will not vote this fall .

So, when broadcasters make serious errors which can effect the populace's voting, then the broadcaster's license should be suspended and revoked.
