Hillary Clinton

International Herald Tribune:

As Pennsylvania voters cast their ballots in Tuesday's Democratic primary, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton and her advisers were already preparing for an all-out battle through the last nomination contests in early June, though many in her camp agree that she needs victories, not only in Pennsylvania, but also in Indiana in two weeks.

Clinton advisers were predicting a victory over Senator Barack Obama in Pennsylvania, though a narrow one. Indeed, two associates of Clinton said she was taking nothing for granted, and they even predicted that she would end her campaign if she were to lose this primary.

IMPORTANT WARNING FOR INDIANA AND NORTH CAROLINA VENDORS: If Hillary or Terry McAuliffe come shopping, ask to see the cash first.

Well North Carolina......what's the scoop? More bull$hit or truth. Pretty many are saying that Obama will NEVER win in North Carolina.

If the GOP runs the ad about Wright that even McCain requested they pull, it's time for Obama to run a few ads himself about Hagee, Haggard and any other "man of the cloth" that is a hater!

Don't for get Jerry Falwell Sr. now deceased. His son Jerry Jr. Oh, and Pat Robertson. The three most
Religious Right wing radicals in America.

Jerry Falwell talking about 9-11

what we saw on Tuesday, as terrible as it is, could be miniscule if, in fact -- if, in fact -- God continues to lift the curtain and allow the enemies of America to give us probably what we deserve.....And I know that I'll hear from them for this. But, throwing God out successfully with the help of the federal court system, throwing God out of the public square, out of the schools. The abortionists have got to bear some burden for this because God will not be mocked. And when we destroy 40 million little innocent babies, we make God mad. I really believe that the Pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People for the American Way, all of them who have tried to secularize America, I point the finger in their face and say: you helped this happen.

Previous statement by Rev. Hagee, by the way, he repeated them earlier today 4-23-08.

The religious right embraced and solicited by John McCain is no different then the the Rev. Wright comments.

Another supporter of McCain, Rev. Hagee said on the Glen Beck TV show and on public radio

Hagee responded that he had "criticized the Catholic Church for its past anti-Semitism" and that "[s]tanding against anti-Semitism does not make me an anti-Catholic." Beck did not ask Hagee about his statement in a book that "[m]ost readers will be shocked by the clear record of history linking Adolf Hitler and the Roman Catholic Church in a conspiracy to exterminate the Jews." Beck also did not mention that the Catholic League's Bill Donohue has called Hagee a "bigot" and has pressed McCain to "retract his embrace of Hagee."

Additionally, Hagee told National Public Radio's Terry Gross that "those who live by the Quran have a scriptural mandate to kill Christians and Jews"; once wrote that "the difference between a terrorist and a woman with PMS" is that "[y]ou can negotiate with a terrorist"; and claimed that "Hurricane Katrina was, in fact, the judgment of God against the city of New Orleans" because it "had a level of sin that was offensive to God," as evidenced by plans for "a homosexual parade there on the Monday that the Katrina came."

Also today. Senator McCain said he welcomes Rev. Hagee's spiritual advise and support.

One more Pat Robertson has said the following.

You know, I don't know about this doctrine of assassination, but if he thinks we're trying to assassinate him, I think that we really ought to go ahead and do it. It's a whole lot cheaper than starting a war ... We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability. We don't need another $200 billion war to get rid of one, you know, strong-arm dictator. It's a whole lot easier to have some of the covert operatives do the job and then get it over with." –Pat Robertson, calling for the assassination of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez

You read the Bible and he says 'This is my land,' and for any prime minister of Israel who decides he is going to carve it up and give it away, God says, 'No, this is mine.' ... He was dividing God's land. And I would say, 'Woe unto any prime minister of Israel who takes a similar course to appease the E.U., the United Nations, or the United States of America.' God says, 'This land belongs to me. You better leave it alone.'" --Pat Robertson, on why Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon suffered a massive stroke

That's great, Hillary raised $30 million in 24 hours. Now after she pays all her creditors and staff she should have maybe $10 million left.

This is the person you believe will save the economy, she can,t even pay her bills or balance a checking account. Ask her Ohio creditors and staff, her campaign wouldn't even return their calls. The Ohio primary was 7 weeks ago and they still haven't been paid. That's what kind of person she is.

Pretty impresive for someone worth $109 million.

People, it's over. Take a moment to shake the disappointment with Pennsylvanians from your heads but its time to move on. The Clintons threw every spell and incantation and flying monkey from the party apparatus they had at their disposal at Obam it couldn't break her fall. The primary is over for Mrs. Clinton. I know it will take a while her friends at the NY Times to realize that their pet candidate has lost it but, heck, ignore them. They've gotten real out of touch anyway. The press will continue to grasp at straws because it all they do these days. She'll continue to spin and spout and sputter for a while longer but that glow you see on the horizon isn't the dusk it's the dawn approaching. You can even tell Edwards and Gore that it's safe to come out of hiding. From now on, we focus on getting rid of Bush and McCain. You can really ignore anything Clinton or her surrogates say. The "pro-Clinton" trolls will soon enough shed a skin and turn into pro-McCain ones. It's over for the Clintons. Long LIve Hope!

No, John Edwards has not yet endorsed a candidate.

But nearly 50 of his most prominent backers lined up behind Senator Barack Obama today, in a gesture designed to give Mr. Obama a heavy boost of support less than two weeks before the North Carolina primary on May 6.

Smart , yeah 4 more years of Bush is better than a well spoken educated man who understands the issues, went into poor neighborhoods and helped people better themselves. You are sad. Have you read anything other than the crap the Clinton camp put out on him, aka Wright and all the other smears. The math is not with her no matter how she spins it. If the SD go against the will of people, and yes they can, they are no better than Republicans who fix elections that suit themselves. Hillary and her campaign should stop the smear jobs against her own party and help Obama. And do not think for one moment Obama has no idea what the Right wing have ready for him. Just keep on spinning and spinning but the math will be the same, she cannot catch him and until the system changes that's that for her. Face reality.

There's more than corn in Indiana....and if you think the only Obama votes are going to be in Northern IN up by Gary you are sadly mistaken.

You have Ft Wayne on the Eastern Edge of IN. Yes, while it has working whites like Ohio, it does have a high African American population. You have Indy which is becoming very urban, has a large medical university and urban college (IUPUI), the headquarters of Eli Lilly (college educated employees) and an African American population. There's a reason that Black Expo gets held at Indy every year.

Then south of Indy you have Bloomington, IN home IU. This is a VERY progressive town. This has a very liberal leaning student body and a very active Obama campaign. But...go ahead..underestimate the Obama vote.

I'm not saying it's going to be a shoe in...or even that Obama will win it (although almost everyone I know is supporting him here) but I am saying he will be competitive!

Heck! My (white) father...who only has a high school education...is retired from a factory job where he worked all his life... is a member of the NRA and who is a Libertarian..is voting for Obama!

Me? I'm a 40 year old college educated single white female..and I'm voting for Obama. So is my college educated older brother who is married. So is my sweetie...another over 40 white male.

Don't count out Obama in Indiana!

Hillary will win the contests she is supposed to win. (KY, WV, PR)
Obama will win the ones he is supposed to win. (NC, WY,OR, Guam, SD)
The toss up will be Indiana. At the end of the primaries, nothing will have changed. Obama
will be ahead on all fronts and Hillary will be left with the bitter pill she must
swallow.

Much has been already discussed about Barack Obama’s disturbing associations with
a domestic terrorist (Ayers), to a prominent Palestinian advocate of suicide bombings
(Khalidi), a corrupt Iraqi billionaire (Auchi), a sleazy personal fundraiser and
mafioso (Rezko), and to his own genocidal maniac of a cousin from Kenya (Odinga),
for whom Obama led a “positive” campaign effort to achieve his “election” a few
years back. As many of us know, Obama’s camp has recently taken a defensive stance
and have dedicated countless hours to spread the word around the internet that these
issues are “irrelevant” to a Presidential campaign and that bringing them up are
thus a full exemplification of “dirty politics”.

Some interesting facts about Hillary.

SUMMARY

FIRST FIRST LADY to come under criminal investigation

FIRST FIRST LADY to almost be indicted acccording to one of the special prosecutors

NUMBER of Hillary Clinton fundraisers convicted of, or pleading no contest to, crime: 5

NUMBER OF TIMES that Hillary Clinton, providing testimony to Congress, said that she didn't remember, didn't know, or something similar: 250

NUMBER OF CLOSE BUSINESS partners of Hillary Clinton who ended up in prison: 3. The Clintons' two partners in Whitewater wereconvicted of 24 counts of fraud and conspiracy. Hillary Clinton's partner and mentor at the Rose law firm, Webster Hubbell, pleaded guilty to federal mail fraud and tax evasion charges, including defrauding former clients and former partners out of more than $480,000. Hillary Clinton was mentioned 35 times in the indictment.

IN THE 1980s, Hillary Clinton made a $44,000 profit on a $2,000 investment in a cellular phone franchise deal took advantage of the FCC's preference for locals, minorities and women. The franchise was almost immediately flipped to the cellular giant, McCaw.

HILLARY CLINTON AND HER HUSBAND set up a resort land scam known as Whitewater in which the unwitting bought third rate property 50 miles from the nearest grocery store and, thanks to the sleazy financing, about half the purchasers, many of them seniors, lost their property.

IN 1993 HILLARY CLINTON and David Watkins moved to oust the White House travel office in favor of World Wide Travel, Clinton's source of $1 million in fly-now-pay-later campaign trips that essentially financed the last stages of the campaign without the bother of reporting a contribution. The White House fired seven long-term employees for alleged mismanagement and kickbacks. The director, Billy Dale, charged with embezzlement, was acquitted in two hours by the jury.

HRC'S 1994 HEALTH CARE PLAN, according to one account, included fines of up to $5,000 for refusing to join the government-mandated health plan, $5,000 for failing to pay premiums on time, 15 years to doctors who received "anything of value" in exchange for helping patients short-circuit the bureaucracy, $10,000 a day for faulty physician paperwork, $50,000 for unauthorized patient treatment, and $100,000 a day for drug companies that messed up federal filings.

TWO MONTHS after commencing the Whitewater scheme, Hillary Clinton invested $1,000 in cattle futures. Within a few days she had a $5,000 profit. Before bailing out she earns nearly $100,000 on her investment. Many years later, several economists will calculate that the chances of earning such returns legally were one in 250 million.

IN 1996, Hillary Clinton's Rose law firm billing records, sought for two years by congressional investigators and the special prosecutor were found in the back room of the personal residence at the White House. Clinton said she had no idea how they got there.

DRUG DEALER Jorge Cabrera gave enough to the Democrats to have his picture taken with both Hillary Clinton and Al Gore. . . Cabrera was arrested in January 1996 inside a cigar warehouse near here in Dade County, where more than 500 pounds of cocaine had been hidden. He and several accomplices were charged with having smuggled 3,000 pounds of cocaine into the United States through the Keys

In 2000, Hillary Clinton's Senate campaign returned $22,000 in soft money to a businesswoman linked to a Democratic campaign contribution from a drug smuggler in Havana.

IN AUGUST 2000, Hillary Clinton held a huge Hollywood fundraiser for her Senate campaign. It was very successful. The only problem was that, by a long shot, she didn't report all the money contributed: $800K by the US government's ultimate count in a settlement and $2 million according to the key contributor and convicted con Peter Paul. This is, in election law, the moral equivalent of not reporting a similar amount on your income tax. It is a form of fraud. Hillary Clinton's defense is that she didn't know about it

HILLARY CLINTON'S participation in a Whitewater related land deal became suspicious enough to trigger an investigation by the Arkansas Supreme Court.

HILLARY CLINTON SUPPORTED the appointment of Rudy Giuliani's buddy, Bernie Kerick, to be Secretary of Homeland Security,. Kerick subsecquently withdrew and not long after was indicted.

AP - Democrat John Edwards said the top strategist for presidential rival Hillary Rodham Clinton [Mark Penn] has ties to the controversial Blackwater security firm, and warned against installing "a group of corporate Democrats" to replace the Bush White House. Edwards suggested similarities between Clinton, the Democratic front-runner, and the Republican president. Penn, Clinton's pollster and senior strategist, is the worldwide president of Burson-Marsteller, a public relations firm. A subsidiary, BKSH, helped prepare Blackwater founder Erik Prince for a contentious congressional hearing this week, but Burson-Marsteller says the relationship has ended. Clinton's spokesman, Howard Wolfson, said Penn had done no work on the Blackwater account.

Okay, it's clear that no one here has been to Indiana, let alone read the history this wonderful state that gave us Dan Quayle and the revived Ku Klux Klan. It's more hillbilly than OH. Most of the state, 60%, is an extension of Kentucky. If Barack says this is the "tie-breaker," this shows an amazing deficiency in his judgement. He needs to correct this....FAST.

You can begin to research how the Rodhams always considered themselves Hoosiers and how they liked to hang at the corner bar, just talking about local issues and having a Boilermaker...though I certainly don't mean that in the literal sense.

It'll be interesting to see how they spin Indiana.
