I find John Stossel's histrionic voice inflexions annoying. Listen to how contrived his voice fluctuations are.
I'm curious about what celebrities have to say. I have no problem with the guests on the Huffington Post. I enjoy it immensely.
Stossel’s diagram on OSHA impact was a joke. I’d love to show Stossel a similar diagram displaying a steady decrease in several indicators of our national security as our defense and security budgets have increased dramatically. If Stossel REALLY believed relying on non-controlled indicators, and in saving taxpayers money, he’d agree we should stop funding our security programs, right?
The reality is that plenty of control studies have been conducted on OSHAs programs and the results are mixed. Some of OSHA’s involvement, like warning letters, have impacts while others don’t.
This man, Stossel, is in the same boat as Limbaugh, O'Lieley, and the other neocowards. I don't see why Arriana would think that Stossel would welcome any fair debate. Watching this, I saw the cut and paste liberties of a neocon "everyday man" producing a segment slanted to discredit and humiliate Arriana. Arianna, darling, don't agree to be taped unless it's live.
Ariana was ambushed by Stossel's BS about the income of the poor increasing. His figures aren't inflation adjusted. In terms of real purchasing power, the people on the lowest rungs of society are in much worse shape than before.
Anyone who believes these propagandist needs a wake up call.
The money worshipers are running the show. Their numbers and words are as hollow as their souls. They tell you that everything is fine, fine for them mean while the other 95% of American is living in the real world. Gas prices are through the roof, food prices are rising, jobs are disappearing, and no one is doing anything to change it.
These followers of god money only care that right now they are making as much as fast as they can and the rest of us can eat cake. Their goal is to eradicate the middle class and turn America into the land of the haves and the have nots.
There is nothing that matters to them other than money. They don't care about this country or the people whole live in it, their goal is to make as much as fast as they can even if it destroys this nation.
The US Government poverty tables clearly show that the percentage of Americans living in poverty has gone up dramatically under every Republican President. The numbers of Americans living in poverty have risen under every President but not the percentage. This is the point that has to be understood. The incomes of all Americans have consistently gone up also, including those in poverty, because of inflation, but the fact is poor people fare very badly under repub administrations.
As always you called a Spade a Spade, and they can' t handle the truth! When someone exposes these scumbags for what they are, they can't stand it.

John Stossel is the main reason I never watch "20/20" anymore. He is a neocon wannabe who twists facts to suit whatever point he wants to make. More often than not, that point is whatever his handlers at Disney/ABC want to drum into our "hysterical liberal" heads, and it's usually more BUSHSHIT. The media is SATURATED with this crap. Glenn Greenwald points out in his new book , "Great American Hypocrites" that the majority of these "dittoheads(Not just Rush's minions anymore!) basically parrot what Matt Drudge puts on his website.

Probably not. It serves the fatcats' purpose and the stupid American public just buys it, lock, stock, and barrel. There are no more Edward R. Murrows or Walter Cronkites anymore. We just get the "Dick Cheney Puppet Theater" on every channel 24/7/365. It's either time for a revolution (good luck against the Blackwater thugs) or time to go somewhere else. I'll probably chose the latter, if I can ever afford to sell my devalued house!
and i can't stand Stossel's weird, horrid moustache, it has a life of its own. when he's on, your eyes are constantly and irrevocably drawn to it.
Anyone can take a chart and make figures up to fit his version of the facts.
For example, I could quote a recent survey which clearly shows that 100% of the people questioned think John Stossel is a douche. I don't need to say I was the only person who was asked. It's still 100% and completely accurate.
